When did the word "ass" become acceptable? I'm not complaining, just curious. I remember when I would have had to type @$$, and they bleeped it out on tv. Anyone else remember those days? I'm still not allowed to say it around family, and if any of my younger cousins said it, well their parents wouldn't be happy in the least. I also remember the uttering of that word in class could get you a free trip. To the principal's office.

Funny, that came up on conversation twice yesterday- when my niece was little and misbehaving she asked her dad "Daddy, are you gonna beat my @$$?"-My sister-in-law had to repress a laugh and say "Jeannie, you have to say bum". :crylaugh: And my mom and I noticed while watching Animal House on TNT that they COULD say @$$, but COULD'NT say @$$-hole :eyez: (Sorry, admin) :ggrief:
