I've had to re-install windows on my computer and now I'm having even more problems. The dream interpretation class is going to slow down a whole lot. :( Sorry about that, I'm beginning to think I'm jinxed or something....
hmm.... <gets her computer>:smash: :uzi: :smash: :scream: I can't get it to work!!!
Kill it.. kill it now!!
Sorry... I had to get that out of my system.
Well... everybody wish me luck, I'm off to study for a test in neo-classical literature. If I'm lucky, I'll stay awake long enough to finish it. :D

Hm I imagine if she just reinstalled windows her computer probably doesn't need to be defragged. :)
Could be a virus or a hardware problem or even an IRQ conflict etc.

did you build the computer? or have someone build it? if so it could be any kind of hardware conflict. it could also be a bios problem. I would suggest going to your motherboard manufacturers website and check the FAQs on your board. I've had to flash my bios, and change some settings in it just because I bought a new video card, and it kept crashing, it took me 2 months to figure that one out. I have also had my computer crash because I had different types of memory in it (i.e. SDRAM 100 and SDRAM 133)
If it's a manufactured computer (i.e. Dell, Gateway, HP, etc...) go to their website and see if they have a fix for it.

There was some kind of virus or something. <sighs>
Now I'm in the middle of reinstalling software, drivers and goddess knows what else I need to do. Right now my roomate (good goddess bless her) is letting me borrow her computer. :)
