The other day my husband asked me to do a reading for him. I rarely do readings for him, but went ahead with this one because I was curious about what would come up. I wasn't happy about the reading, but I was even less happy about what happened when he shuffled the cards!!! He accidently bent one! And I'm not talking about a small bend that will work itself out eventually, I'm talking about a crease! :hairraise And to make matters worse.... it was my Housewives Tarot!!!!!! :awilly: So... I made him buy me another one and I'm using that one in my Tarot journal :lol:

However, it was a bit disturbing which card got creased... It was the Two of Cups...

Yup... I wanted to cry.... But.. he ordered me a new one to replace it :D So now I'll have two Housewives Tarot decks. I'm going to use the one with a bent card in my Tarot journal.

I did that with my Universal Waite card. creased the The Hanged Man. :collapse: so I bought another deck and I use it as my "spares" deck in case I ruin another card. :bouncybob

I am always paranoid when I am myself holding my Tarot cards that I will accidentally bend them! :shaker: I am even more paranoid if hubby holds the cards! :hairraise So far my RWS and Hanson-Roberts decks have been out of his reach... The other decks are at his mercy! :(

I have a shameful story to share related to yours.... Last august my husband bought me 2 new tarot decks for my birthday. This completely delighted me! He gave me the Robin Wood and Tarot of the Master decks.

So in my excitment I brought them to work to look at. I put them in my bag with my lunch, which had milk in a container for some cereal. UGH! Yes the milk leaked out and got all over the Robin Wood deck. I was sooooooooo upset! I took each card and dried it off and laid them all out on a desk to dry. They are ok now but the box they came in is trashed.

The worst part was how to tell DH? Ruining a gift someone just gave you is an aweful feeling. But all is well now :-) No crying over spilt milk!

It was the Two of Cups... I would find that distrubing considering what is going on with you Aine, wow. As for bent decks Thansk to my kids Ihave to get several decks relaced but I am glad to know i am not the only who would use the other former deck for spares :)
