I was wondering if anyone can do a reading for me? It's about my hubby & I & the direction our relationship is going. I tried to do a reading myself but I'm too close to the situation to be objective right now.

Whoa, talk about major arcana! Also I see lots of cups and some pents - major emotional matters, but are money problems figuring in somewhere?

The world suggests that this is a very important matter and does not just center on you and your hubby but various other factors that are important to you (money, career, and/or family maybe), you've probably been trying to keep these things in balance or decide which is important to you (as the girl balancing on one foot on the world indicates).

Death of course suggests changes and a time for release, and lies in the place of obstacles or things to overcome just ahead. Welcome tears right now and they will be short lived.

Judgment represents the goal or destiny to be reached or the querent's ideals. Some choice needs to be made.

The Tower shows distant past. Perhaps bad relationships in the past are making you worry about the one you have now. I know how that feels; for example when my fiance gets home and gets right on the computer, considering my last ex did that every night and never spent time with me - I'll see my fiance do that and think "oh no, here we go again". Perhaps this card signifies something like that?

Two of Cups shows recent past. Maybe you're thinking he's been such a sweetheart before, or that you just got past some gate and he did so well then, or maybe that you need to give the relationship time to work out some problem.

Future has the Queen of Cups. She could represent yourself (a sensitive, artistic, beloved woman) or someone close to you. She could also suggest that you value your emotions and feelings right now above anything else - no amount of money or anything else will make you happy if you aren't doing what makes you happy. She could even represent a friend you can lean on and get advice from. A full moon is behind her and I feel this is someone or something you need to focus on to help you find your way.

7 of Pents as the questioner - again, I ask does this situation have to do with money matters or even matters of career? Maybe something to do with saving money for something? Hm, the waxing moon above 7 pentacle bubbles suggests something to do with saving money or career.

The Sun appears in environmental factors. So you can either expect really great weather now :D or it could represent how you have a great friend or family member who can listen to your problems and help out. It might also indicate that whatever is going on between you and your spouse, he loves you *very* much and love is all that really matters in the end.

The 5 of Pents in hopes/fears position indicates again previous occurences in relationships that you might worry about now. It might also indicate money matters you've had to worry over before and don't want to worry about again, or that you were hoping recently to get more money or a better job (or that your hubby would). It also indicates that you should keep your hope up.

In the final result position we find the 4 of Cups. This shows a faerie woman in the lotus position meditating near 4 upright cups and a starry sky. The cups are all upright, very positive. Serenity and calmness will be achieved. I keep getting the impression that the 3 cups represent some group of people (family, friends, coworkers?) related in some way to your issue. It also suggests that you are a cup, and you need to take time to ignore what others say or think, to listen to your *HEART* not your mind, and you will be happy. Big choices may need to be made right now, and you may be rolling them around in your mind, but keep your heart's desire above all. As Pagans we know that with intent and focus we can achieve anything we want.

Thanks for the reading, Willow Raven. It gives me hope, seeing this reading. Financial plays a big part in this. Long time ago, we made career decisions that our family comes first. Now, we've been questioning that...as our car gets worst & worst & need more repairs. :rolleyes: I'm at the point that my boss is thinking of retiring in the next year or sooner. I'll have to decide if I want her job or keep mine. If I keep mine, money is tight but I'll still have my time with my family. If I take her job, it's more money but I'll have more responsiblity here at work. The financial worries are hard on my husband. He's not like me...I just roll with things & he likes things to be just right. I don't think we're that badly off.

You've given me a lot to think about. Really, really appreciate this reading!

ok. here's how it looks to me.

something's happening right now, or is to happen soon from now (or possibly JUST happened) that was/is causing you pain. . . .not physical, emotionally. Perhaps an argument that hit a tender spot on both sides.
Fortunately, I think some understanding was gained from this. . . perhaps an issue finally got itself resolved. The cards are telling me it had something to do with money ((LOL sorry, I know you mentioned the car thing, I wasn't taking that into account. Just typing what's here lol)), that money is being a challenge right now? There's a lot of different directions you need to focus on, but you're stuck right in the middle, you can't decide what to focus on. This seems good, this seems good, this needs to be done, this doesn't NEED to be done but it would be wonderful to be able to do. .. . so on and so forth. a LOT of confusing choices.

This is good! The impression I get is that your final choice might involve travel or moving. . . but that once you DO make that desicion, it's going to be wonderful, a very helpful answer. Might not resolve EVERYTHING, but it'll slow things down and bring peace.

Thanks, Puma. I guess the toughie now is knowing what's in my heart so I can make the right decisions. We're by no means destitute or anything like that. We just don't have any extra, that's all. When my husband starts to worry about things, he tends to withdraw & mope. Thanks for giving me more insights.

Most importantly, listen to your heart. I had the same problem recently, balancing money and career and everything else when my heart knew the answer. When you follow our heart and have intent and focus you can achieve anything you need, IMHO.
