I'm 10 weeks, 3 days pregnant with my second child. Yesterday when I went to the bathroom, there was a big gush of blood, though no cramping. My husband took me to the hospital, where I was checked out, and an ultrasound was done.

The bleeding has mostly stopped, my cervix is closed, and from the ultrasound they've determined that the baby isn't in any distress, so we should be okay... they've termed this a "threatened miscarriage", and about 50% of women who experience this do miscarry.

Please, if you can, light a candle for my baby.

Well, the bleeding has stopped. I'm working with my medical provider to get me into an OB/GYN as soon as possible, but it is a bit of a frustrating process. Thank you for all your support!

Dressing a candle and sending energies! Try to stay in bed as much as possible and rest and relax until you can see the Ob/Gyn. DO NOT LIFT anything at all have someon else do that for you! If it is a threatened miscarriage , most of the time they tell you to be on bed rest which You should do until you can be seen by a Doc.Do not do anything strenuous or stressful. :hugz:
