I have no Wicca/occult shops in my area. Wondering where (what kind of stores) I should look for herbs in. I can never find any.

They're every where.:) Seriously try heathfood stores in your nieghborhood and there is also mail order just search herbs and you will find a slew of them. You can also grow them in your windowsill. Fresh plants can inprove the air in your home and make it smell nice.:)

Try your local garden center for plants and seeds to grow your own

I was at one of the local Home Depot's yesterday. They had a wide variety of herbs in 4" and 6" pots.

I have a membership at our local food co-op. They have all sorts of neat goodies. I'm in there more often than I am the local metaphysical shops. I dont' go so much for the "real" veggies, but for bulk herbs, dried flowers and teas. They also have a section in the back where you can get oatmeal, cream of wheat, pasta, rice, nuts, dried fruits, etc, etc, in bulk ~ by the pound or however you need it. So much better than the local grocery! up front, they have a deli and a section with essential oils, incenses, soaps, and so forth .... I could stay in there for days.
Membership is cheap ~ $7 per individual for a year, $15 for a family of two. It gives you a 10% discount everytime you're in the store. So, even if you go in and get a $1 worth of herbs (which in bulk, $1 goes a long way depending on what you're getting)(sometimes I pop in just for a bag of catnip), you can really rack up.

Where abouts are you in Canada? Richters in Ontario has a great selection of plant herbs as well as seeds. They also have dried herbs as well.

For the herbs I don't have room to grow, I buy them at a bulk herbal place here in Vancouver. I think they do mail orders as well. If you're interested, let me know & I'll look up their address for you.
Mystique just posted a link for Gaia Gardens - that's the place here in Vanc that I buy my stuff from. Lots of neat info on their website.
