I have a question.
I understand that a binding spell is done to prevent another from harming themselves or others. A protection spell would be to protect oneself from harm.
Let's say that I used to deal with someone on a daily basis who was an angry person in general, with outbursts of temper and foul, abusive language. I no longer deal with this person, however, this person is still in a position to damage me with his/her words. I am not angry with this person, but very hurt and afraid. I cannot move forward until this stops.
In this situation, would a spell of protection be the course to take? Somehow, a binding spell under these circumstances seems more vindictive than helpful.

I would personally just do a stop slander spell. That would tie their tongue and allow you to move forward without damaging them in any way.

Thanks, Shatav, I didn't think of that! :)
