May I please have a reading?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am confused about my spiritual path.

I have been researching my ancestry and found that I come from Anglo-Saxon roots. I have been studying the Old Norse Gods and trying to learn the Runes. But whenever I ask if this is the right path it comes up negative in the cards. Except today I drew the Sowillo Rune, which is positive.

So then I asked about the Greek and Celtic pantheon of Gods and I get a more positive response.

I wish to know which of the three paths; Anglo Saxon Heathenry; Celtic or Greek should I primarily attune to at this time???

Which Pantheon wants to work with me?

P.S. I desire to learn Anglo Saxon Heathenry but I don't know if it's the right path? I don't know if that Pantheon wants me praying to them. I want to go where I'm wanted.

I'm sorry to hear about your confusion! If you don't know which path to take, my only suggestion is to take one that feels right, and know that you can always turn around and go in another direction.

I never worried about acknowledging deities that don't want to be acknowledged. (My view of deity is different). But maybe, do you think it makes sense that whatever you find yourself most drawn to will also feel drawn to you?

Hey, i love that moonstone.

in fact i never had my own view on dietys. i just read that somewhere on a thread here that if you picked the 'wrong gods' you'd know it in a hurry and it would be unpleasant.

it kind of made me feel afraid. i'm glad that isn't the only way to perceive a relationship with diety. you have made me feel relaxed. thankyou so much. wow, it only takes a few words from another person and i feel better. it's just this is all new to me and i haven't built up any confidance because i don't know anything, (well not much at least) about pantheons and dietys.

im going to choose Old Norse with the Greek elements and elemental spirits as well, as i love working with them. Heck im just going to go where i want to and take it from there. Thanks so much for your soothing words!

I'm glad I could help. I've also noticed that a lot of people here view deity that way, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with having a different opinion. I actually don't have a concrete view of deity. I just can't be so certain!

Some suggestions on working with elementals: books by Machaelle Small Wright. Books about the Findhorn Garden and Community. 'The Deva Handbook: How to Work with Nature's Subtle Energies' by Nathaniel Altman. 'Nature Spirits and Elemental Beings' by Marco Pocagnic. I was also recommended to read books by R.J. Stewart recently and got a couple already. I hope to take his workshop on faery cords in New York City next month. (You can find more at http://www.dreampower.com).
