Very good short story. I like it. It would make a good movie.

holy creepy cave story, even creepier because i am claustrophobic! :) i had to stop reading several times and breathe.
sounds like maybe some elementals didn't appreciate having their cave violated.

I think it would make a great movie too. I had to stop reading a few times...I can't imagine being in such a confined space...

yea just reading about the space that he was in really creeped me out. i couldn't deal with being in a confined space like that. i have a fear of being squashed. :awilly: i don't think its done yet. or maybe....did he conquer the cave? just have a sinking feeling, he won't be updating.

The way it ends is intentional. He goes off to conquer the cave and is never heard from again. Good stuff.

Apparently fiction, written by someone named Thomas Lera back in 1987.
Then again that in itself may be a rumor as well, heres another link that claims he knows the real "Ted"

Supposedly this is the cave survey map :

We probably will never know the truth.

i just read the last page. for whatever reason when i read it last night i got to the part where the rope is pulled back into the cave and then that was it.
i just read the page about stuff in the house and going back to the cave, end of story.
i was almost buying until then. good story none the less.

too long for me to read. I'll look at it when I get home. I have a really short concentration span. It does look intresting though.

Oh man, I think if I sat for two hours watching some guy smooshed inside a mountain, I would lose my little mind!

Weither it is fiction or not it kept me on the edge of my seat! The fact that it is "unfinished" was a bummer. It leads to the assumption that it is fiction, but the way it ended.....if they do make a movie, there is a chance of a sequel! LOL!
