This is freaking me out a bit. When I bought my Celtic Dragon deck, there was a defect on the 10 of Cups card...kind of like a round, sort of blackish scrape right in the middle of the card. I was supposed to get a replacement card from Llewelyn, but of course it never came. I've been using the deck for a few months now, and tonight I just realized that the 10 of Cups card is now missing. I've looked everywhere...it's just not here. I remember it being there just a few weeks ago because it came up in a reading. What the heck is up with that card? Grrr.

So now I'm not sure I should keep using the deck, even though it's my absolute favorite, because there is a card missing. What are your thoughts?

I'd keep after Lewellyn to send you that card. Keep trying and I'm sure they'll send it. It wasn't your fault the card was blemished. It's a beautiful deck and I'm sure it's worth using...

You don't need 78 cards to make good use of a deck. Sure, it's nice to have all 78, to have a complete deck, but it doesn't really make your deck less useful. (If you're reading for clients, though, I think you should probably have all 78, if only because that's what they'll expect).

You're missing the 10 of cups. I find the 10 of pentacles is very similar to the 10 of cups (although I don't know that particular deck well). You could keep in mind when you draw the 10 of pentacles to also take into consideration cups issues: emotional good fortune, abundance, joy, etc.

But I suggest you keep after Lewellyn!
