the pitbull...

I saw this video on another board, and I decided to post it here.

:Warning: This video is very graphic,no more graohic however of what ive seen on animal planets aspca episodes. And is also very powerful and moving.has some pics of what people have let happen to their beloved pits. but also LOTS more pics of familys with there dogs and children. It had me bawling like a baby from start to finish, so you may want to keep the tissue handy..

Being the proud owner of one big, cuddly, couch hog, sweet, loving, loyal, pitbull named Shanti, which means peace, this video brought me to tears.
One of the pits looked just like my big baby.
I dont understand why people blame the dog instead of the owner. I dont see how anyone could be so cruel to an animal period.

Its all so sad, excuse me, I need to go hug Shanti ( my dog, not me) right now.

I have three pitts and they are the sweetest dogs. We rescued Sky from the shelter where the woman who ran it changed her breed card so she would not be put down. i cannot belive what some people would do to their loving friend.

The wait to download was worth it. A very moving video. I can see where these dogs are very misunderstood. My exstep daughter had one and he was great with children and woman. He didn't like men  , i have my own thoughts on that. one time we took Axle to the vet for xrays, the vet had to call us back to put a muzle on Axle. HE could not get near the cage other wise. we went back and were sitting in the kennel when he came back with Axle licking our faces and playing as soon as the vet apeared the dog became protective. Not agressive.

Here in Germeny we can't have them, they are on a list of breeds that are not allowed.

Wow...

That video has so much meaning and a huge lesson in it. It brought tears to my eyes. I had a pit bull, but I don't have her anymore unfortunately :( I actually lost her with a case for something like the video was talking about, but just the stereotype thing is what it was. *sends huggles to Peaches*
