Could this be the legendary bigfoot?

Edit: Sorry for posting this in the wrong forum.

Nah they found the guy who did big foot as a hoax. They did a story on him. His wife walked around with sandals shaped like big feet and a hairy costume.

So what if some bigfoot things are hoaxes? It doesn't mean they all are hoaxes. Bigfoot has been reported for hundreds of years...

I'm still on the fence about this one, but I live in some of the same woods he's been spotted in before. I'm about 100 miles or so from the nearest siting, but that's pretty close if you think about how far "animals" can roam.

I believe this particular photo is generally considered a hoax. Concerning bigfoot in general, though, gets a little more complicated. If you want to see some extremely interesting finds, do a search for Jimmy Chillicutt. He's a fingerprint analysis expert who examined casts of sasquatch footprints to de-bunk the whole bigfoot thing. He ended up doing the opposite. He collected a database on dermal ridges on human and primate feet. On human feet, the ridges run horizontally. On primate feet, they run diagonally. On the bigfoot casts, they ran toe to heel. He located sweat pores on some casts. Other casts had the same dermal ridge pattern even though the casts were taken 20 years and several hundred miles apart. I can't remember where I read/heard this, but I recall one story of casts being sent to the Smithsonian, the FBI, and Scotland Yards to analyze the dermal ridge patterns, and the majority of these concluded the casts were genuine.
