Nasty spirit messing with my best friend's daughter

I have a problem - well, my friend has a problem, but it is somewhat my problem too, since she's my soul-sister and her daughter is very special to us both.

My sister is a single mom, and has a 3 year old with special needs. For about a year, there's been a very unpleasant spirit hanging around their house. They have both seen him a number of times, and while he usually leaves my sister alone, he terrifies her daughter, coming after her at night and waking her up, and lurking outside the house, scaring her from the windows.

About a week ago, I went to visit with them, with my 2 year old dauther in tow. She doesn't seem particularly sensitive to spirits, but I tend to be (though not as much as my sister is). I can usually feel them, but rarely do they manifest themselves physically to me. Anyway, I felt his presence - he has a very powerful energy, and it is very unpleasant. He left us alone while I was visiting, but has gone back to terrifying my sister's little girl.

What's interesting is that the first night of my visit, I actually did see a spirit in the field behind her house. Usually if I do see spirits, I see a coloured haze, like a thick fog. This one was pink, which was unusual, since I've never seen a spirit manifest in that colour before. During my visit, I had a chance to communicate with this spirit (her name is Margaret), and learned a lot about her. She's been hanging around, and my sister has felt her presence, but she hasn't been able to communicate much with Margaret.

Now, for some unknown reason, Margaret wasn't there last night. Whenever she's around, my sister has no problems with this unpleasant male spirit, but last night he was terrorizing my sister's daughter again. He's come at my sister in daylight.

My sister is very experienced with spirits, as they've followed her all her life, but she's at her wits end with this one. If anyone knows of any ways to help this spirit move on and stop harassing my sister, I'd be glad to pass on suggestions to her, because I've only ever once dealt with an unpleasant spirit, and a banishing did the trick, but this one is persistent and very nasty. Margaret keeps him away (she told me she would do her best) but when she's not around, he returns. My sister is at her wit's end - she's stressed with the pressures of being a single mother and her schooling, and can't think of any way to get rid of him.

This might seem obvious but have you smudged the house? IE> Burning sage and spreading the smoke around the house? It is supposed to cleanse it of evil influences might work on him.

My closest friend had the same prob with her 3 yr old daughter. It took time and patients and work but the only way she could get rid of it was to work with her daughter.

My friend used her own magick, by her self, but she also spent time helping her daughter to believe that nothing can mess with her if she doesnt want it to.
She taught her daughter to 'will' it away. She added her 'will' to it too.
Together they made it leave and its been gone for about 6 months now. It took about a month or so of working together and with my friend working on her own.
Her daughters not afraid anymore either because she knows she can make bad things go away.

Both me and my friends daughters are born mediums and have always had entities/spirits come to them from the time they were very tiny.
I worked with my daughter too in teaching her to tell spirits that she is scared and they should stop scaring her. Which some change their tactics and continue to communicate with her but with out frightening her. And ones that are just frightful no matter what, I taught her to will them away too.

Oh wow that really changes everything. My son has functional autism. They are differant in how you can deal with things.
But not having her daughter deal with them herself, but with mom. A joint effort and mom has to use all she has inside to make it happen. Maybe mom can dig down to that 'dont mess with my baby' instinct and bring those protective emotions to the surface and use that energy?

That's what she's been doing, but he doesn't seem to get the picture. She can't figure out what he wants with B, and why he's so persistent. She's tried doing banishing rituals, and blasting him with all she's got, but he always comes back after a couple of days.

The thing about my sister is she's like a dragon when her daughter is threatened. You don't want to mess with her. She's actually said that she is afraid that this spirit is tied to the house and can't leave, so if she could, she'd move, but she's a student and can't afford to move (her parents own the house and she lives there rent-free).

Sorry but if she has tried so much to no avail, the only thing I could think of is help from someone else that has expirence in dealing with things of this nature. Someone that can go to her house. Other than that, I dont know what more she can do. :(

You said she has tried some banishin rituals. Has she did any basic energy manipulation? What I have found works the best is using a technique called fire storming (fire is my element, but it could be changed to use her particular element).

Anyways when I do it i use my own energy and create like a barrier around the house, room, et cetra I am trying to get the spirit in question to leave. For instance, if I was trying to rid my house of anything I might start in the room i felt it was in and picture my energy as white hot fire, using a combination of my own energy and any other good spiritual energy around. It would consume the walls and the floors, any objects in the room. Move on room to room keeping the energy up until you are completely satisfied it is gone.

The trick is to use it almost as "holy" energy, all good and what you are fighting is something you want out that can not stand it....

If you cannot do that or it doesnt work for you may need more energy. Work with her to do this. Obviouslyyou are going to want to know the reason behind the spirit, it may be a one time thing, it may not be.

Have they tried communication to see what he wants and to explain that he is not welcome there? He may be tied to the property in some way and seeking help to get free.

Im not really good with spirits, only ones ive ever seen were shadows out of the corner of my eyes when i was little. But, wouldn't getting the child to carry a peice of charged black kyanite work to banish the spirit because it is very protective and deflects negativity?

do you know whether it is a ghost or not? if it is... i can see if i can talk to my High Priest. He has A LOT of experience in ghost banishings. basically what you do is call one of the spirits relatives to come take them to the other side. ill talk to him if you want and get some info.

I have two suggestions.

One - talk to the bad spirit. The next time you or she senses it, try speaking to it and try to find out what it wants. This is obviously a very powerful spirit, so you should be very careful in speaking with it. Just try and see if you can convince him to go away.

Two - Ask the female ghost if she would be willing to watch after the little one. Since she apparently keeps him away, maybe she'd be willing to help?

I don't recommend exorcism or banishment if you have no real experience in such matters. But sometimes you need a good old fashioned show of force.

Well, a few suggestions, from personal experiences.
One: this is just for right now, but, maybe get some protective stones or gems for the daughter to wear, bracelet or necklace, or get some to place around the house. Keeps some banishing sigils around maybe also. And also, have the mother, and maybe anyone else that can, do a working maybe once a week, or every few days to extend a barrier of their protective energy around the house. Also, when the spirit is around, try communication with it, spoken word is best, maybe setup a recorder and try to capture evp, or even like a quiji board, protected of course. Communcation to see why it is there, and ask it nicely to leave.

Two: alittle more active, but get into communication with the female spirit. See if that spirit will help you, and provide added energy to banish this other spirit. I have done this one time. It was a different situation. What it was, they were the spirits of a husband and wife. Long story, but the wife was protective, and could keep the husband away. We asked her to help us, and we performed a banishing ritual, where we all channeled our energy through her, and onto the intention. The husband spirit has not come back, it has been several years now.

Three: this has to do more with personal systems of practice, but if you do have a diety that you work with evocation of that diety to help banish this spirit. Would have to work up a ritual. Or also, even invocation of the diety, with intention of banishing this spirit. If that is not really your path, what i suggest would be well, I don't know how to describe it, but I call it blasting. Basically, getting all the people that you know, perform the ritual by basically concentrating not on the intent, but all of your own energies, empowering yourselves, and and focusing the energy, and all together at once, even better if you know the spirit is near, letting all the energy go, ALL of it, flow out of you, basically blasting the energy out. That last part, can be rather hard, and even dangerous, if you do it, make sure not to have intent in your mind when releasing the energy, just let it go, otherwise, it can have unforseen consequences, but it really is one of the most powerful things you can do.

Well, good luck, and be careful, especially not knowing what this spirit wants.

There was a spirit who would frighten my daughter for a time as well. She never saw him, but she said he would yell at her. I myself never had an experience with this particular spirit, but my husband ran afoul of him as well. I smudged the house and placed salt in front of all the entrances, including windows.

We haven't had an issue since, so it's worth a try at least

yah i would like to know what happend too. i have had my issues with some not so nice spirits, i asked mine to politly go away. he hasnt botherd me in a while, but there is another that is around here now (maybe it is him i am not totaly sure)

i would definatly ask him what he wants, or why he cant leave (if that is the problem) and the female spirit seems willing to help, maybe since you have had contact with her to not only have her help protect the child (as has been suggested) but to see if she can talk with the male spirit as well to see what is up with him. (if spirits can do that i am not totaly sure)

i dont know why spirits attach them selfs to us but they do and there is normaly a reason. for me it was a foolish working with a ougia board before i knew what was really up with those things (live and learn you know and bpy did i learn) other spirits have visited me that were there because they were attached to the area or house i was in, and the others were pets that were still earth bound (i found them to be very protective of my family) we even had one that lived in our school bus (poor guy was murdered in the bus, he was also a protective spirit i think that he liked us because we brought so much love and happiness in his life we no longer own the bus i wonder how he is doing now)

i have a freind that says that i am probably a medium, but i have closed my self off to the spirits because some of them have frightend me so much i have turned that sense off
