i tried it and it is very hard. i tried doing a cat as my cat was next to me so i copied hetr for a while and tried to think what she would think. it makes you really hungry afterwards but i dont know if i suceeded because after a while i went into a trance and i kinda felt sleepy. i dont know if i suceeded because cats are always sleepy!!

I just commented on this subject in the "astral projection" thread, I should have read all the others first.

I also tried it with my cat. Cat's have great personalities, I have been able to see out of the cat's eyes for a few moments. It really shocked my poor cat though, so I'm not sure this is really ethical, ask your pet first.
It does take lots of concentration. If you want to try this and are not used to meditating for a long time (an hour or so)it will be very hard. I'm not saying it will be impossible, I have known people with tremendous focus that just fell into these kinds of feats. And as I said, get your pet's permission, animals have rights too.
