This is something I saw in a magazine. They put a couple of small houseplants inside a birdcage. (no birds). It was a home decor thing, but I thought it might be a good idea for people with cats who like to eat the houseplants.

bitter apple works well for most cats vs plant situations...its a spray that doesn't hurt the cat or plant but tastes awful!!!!

or you can just lock your plants in a room where cats aren't allowed... no fun though... I should put my aloe in cages... thats a good idea...

I have three cats who LIKE Bitter Apple. Two that like Cayenne and Tabasco. One that adores toothpaste (he tried to lick my teeth this morning). And so on.

For now, I've given up on houseplants. I'll wait until I have more space to ahng them and keep them away from kitties.
