Last night I did a spell for myself and asked for a sign that I was heard. I always read spells should be done in a firm commanding voice, but mine was more like a talk. I did yoga before hand......Anyways I got my things together, prepared my area, grounded, cast my very simple circle (not one for casting elaborate circles) and did my thing. Now I was facing the full moon the entire time and the clouds (lots of clouds) were whizzing by her, from her brightness it looks as if they went around her and not in front of her, by the end (say 20 min later) the sky was very clear and no clouds. I gave thanks and did a libation also and went inside for the night. ......
Well after, my husband went outside to meditate under the moon light and he came in when he was done saying it was cloudy and he could hardly see the moon. hmmm
Also it has been kinda rainy and all of a sudden thismorning it started snowing. Could I be reading too into things?
I didn't really ask for a sign that my spell was working because its something I mostly need help in doing and I know this project takes time so there was no time limit to my spell and I even said that I'll know its working when it starts. Ok your wondering what the spell was, help enhancing my tiny touch of clairvoyance.

Honestly, it just sounds like the weather changed to me. However, I feel strongly that you have to interpret these things for yourself. If you feel it was a sign, then it was. :)

I was thinking the same thing. Also, I never ask for a sign because I know that a sign will always be there. It is a matter of us being aware that the sign has come. I do not seek out the signs, but I make sure that I am open so that if they do come, I will notice. It helps me to focus on my intention rather than trying to rush things. I think when I look for signs, in a way, it's as if I'm being too impatient and that things will happen when I consciously will it. But I think things happen just when the time is right. Not looking also helps me to learn to be patient.

I have never asked for a sign before, once I just got one and knew what it was for. Good point on the focusing on your intention.

in fairness you are the only one who can answer this question. its worth bearing in mind that you should go with your gut feeling in this case.
does your gut feeling tell you this is some sort of sign? if it does then perhaps this is something to ponser on a bit more.
if your gut feeling tells you no, then put it aside and dont worry about it.
if you really dont know and cant tell, then assume it isnt a sign, assume that it is most likely just one of those mundane things that tend to happen 99% of the time. that said bear it in mind, its something to look out for.
i tend not to look for signs when im doing stuff, i try to just let things happen and see them for what they are - mundane. i try not to read too much into everyday occurrances. that way when a sign come along its obvious, it stands out and there is no doubt in your mind that it has meaning. these signs may only happen 1% of the time, but they are bloody amazing when they do and well worth it.
