Merry meet and Blessings to you all...

I just joined this lil community so we'll see what this gets me. I am 23, male, single practicioner (solitary may be a better word so ya don't think I mean my status...even though I am single, but that strays from the point...) I have been "closeted" for too long now. My mother, whom I live with considers my Wiccan beliefs a phase...one of my main goals in being here is to gain friends in Brooklyn or closeby that share the same or similar beliefs and that I could possibly find someone in a coven.

Welcome, hope you find what you are looking for :) I just hate it when people think I'm jsut going through a phase... Or that I'm trying to be like other people I know by being Pagan, I understand how, uh, grrring it can be. Hope you find peace in Mysticwicks...

Merry meet Michael,

My mom used to call my path "that magical crap", until I loaned her my copy of The Truth About Witchcraft Today by Scott Cunningham. We now have pretty interesting conversations on the topic, :).

I'm also a solitary practitioner, I have a thing with authority so I don't think I'll ever want to join a coven, hehe.

Brooklyn eh? I'm a few hours away in southern Vermont.

I think everybody gets some kinda greif when you start new with this stuff. My mom calls it " that witchie stuff".
Well, I'm pretty far from Brooklyn but I'm always up for a chat if ya like talkin to foreigners(sp). haha! :)
