I have been asked by a friend to be with her tomorrow when she has one of her cats put to sleep. The cat, Lucky, has been suffering with cancer and has had several operations to have the tumors removed, but now seems to be at the end of her life. The vet will be coming to my friends house to do it.

I will be able to spend some time with her earlier in the day and Lucky and I communicate pretty well, so I plan to talk with her a bit. Last time I saw Lucky she said she was ready to leave this life, so she know what is coming, but not how it will be done.

Does anyone have any suggestions on way to help my friend and Lucky? I have been with several animals when they have died, it comes with my Reiki practice, but this is the first time in this particular situation.

Thank you in advance.

Just make sure that the poor cat knows it is not alone as it sleeps even if you have to hold her/ him in your arms and pet it till the end it's spirit will appreciate it

Thank you Bigboper123 !**Hugs**

I was able to talk my friend into letting Lucky choose her own time. Such a brave kitty. She had 6 surgerys to remove tumors from the site she got her rabies injection.

My friend has 2 groups of ferral cats she takes care of. She got them registered with the county and feeds them daily, no matter what the weather and pays for their vet care. She found Lucky sick in one of the fields and got her medical help. Then she took her home to live with her and the Himalayans she owns. Lucky was a very lucky girl.

I spent several hours with Lucky yesterday giving her Reiki and plenty of love.
Please pray for peace for lucky.
Thanks
