(Prepare this incense when the moon is new.)
1/2 dram cypress oil
1/2 dram olive oil
1/2 ounce dried rose petal
1/2 ounce white willow bark
3 dried rowan berries
1 teaspoon anise seeds
In a small bowl, blend together the cypress and olive oils. Set aside. Using a mortar and pestle, powder and mix together the rose petals, willow bark, rowan berries, and anise seeds. Add the dry ingredients to the oil mixture and stir together well.
Concecrate the Goddess Incense with a blessing and burn it on a hot charcoal block to honor and/or invoke the Goddess. (It may also be used in healing rituals, lunar rituals, divinations, and all forms of love magick.)
To make Goddess incense in stick or cone form, onit the cypress and olive oils, and mix a bit of gum arabic or acacia gum into the powdered herb mixture to make it sticky. Carefully dip broomstraws into it or use your fingertips to roll small bits of the mixture into cones. Allow the incense to thoroughly dry before burning.
