There are things happening that I don`t understand.

Hey, I haven`t been here in a while, but I`m having some things happening in my house that I don`t understand. I`ve got everything going on from things going "bump" in the night, (No mice, I had an exterminator check it out), to my dogs barking at interior walls of the house when "nothing" is there. Puffs of smoke just being there, for no good reason. (I do burn alot of inscents, but NOT when I see this) Sometimes I put something, like my keys on a countertop. When I go to get them, they are gone. So I search the whole house, only to find them in the same spot they "disappeared" from. Some of this does happen when I am almost asleep, or just wakeing, but most of the time I am just sitting there, and it happens. Last nite was the worst, (or best) yet. I was lying in bed watching TV. My dogs were in the bedroom w/ me. I heard something slide across a countertop in the kitchen. Thinking it was my cat, I yelled at him, but he was lying in the bed w/ me. Then I got a feeling like being watched, and it got really cold in the house. I got up to check the thermostat, 70 degrees. About an hour later, still a cold feeling of foreboding in my house I got up to use the bathroom, and there it was. I clearly saw an outline of a person backlit by the streetlight coming in the frontroom window. I was startled but I stopped and looked thinking some idiot must have broken in. My dogs were growling It really looked like someone`s siloette standing there looking at me. I turned to grab my gun, and it was gone. This really didn`t freak me out. As a matter of fact I thought it was kinda cool! But now I am wondering if I can take it a step further, and maybe communicate with it. There was a bad feeling, but not in the sense that I felt in danger. I mean, I had just seen something odd, that will spook anyone. Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience, and if so, is there a way of at least disearning weither or not it is good, or evil. To tell the truth I am alarmed that I wasn`t scared Sh*tless. Maybe I shoulda been.(Curiosity killed the cat,..ya know?) My house is over 100 yrs. old so maybe something is there. Someone has to have had this experience, I only need to be pointed in the right direction. I don`t want to invite anything that will do harm, I have a child too. If it`s a good entity, it may stay, just leave my keys alone! (ha ha) If it`s evil, it`s gotta go! I should add that this phenomena happens in broad daylight too, not only in the dark. Thanx all! My experience with these type of entities is to get them out. Do you know how to do an effective house cleansing? When your house becomes inhabited by one poltergeist, more may follow. From what you explained, it sounds like poltergeists. They will leave if you do a Spiritual house cleansing.....effectively. Especially with children and pets around, better be safe than sorry.


I have dealt with these types of things. It isn't fun, and it takes alot of courage and faith in your abilities to really clear them out. Do you think you can do that? If so, I will correspond with you privately on how to get them out. Let me know.

Hey if they don't scare you or try to harm you why make them leave? I have tons of people (everyone who knows about it) telling me I need to find a way to get rid of the ones I've seen. But I really don't feel like chaseing them away. Infact I feel more drawn to them the more I see. What's wrong with a little extra company? Becides maybe they have some knowledge that will be helpful. Or maybe they will just pop up and make life interesting. Whatever the case why scare them away? If you think about it maybe they have as much if not more right to be there than you do. After all if they came with the house they were there first.
As to the communicateing, have you tryed the whole recording thing? you know where you ask questions while you are recording and then play it back to see what happens... I've had some people tell me that if you meditate on them you're supposed to be able to communicate , others say if you just ask when they are w/ you, you shold get an answer..... Personally I've never tryed any of these (no money for a recorder, not very good at meditation, and too scared when I see them to think.) but those are some things that suposedly work that I've heard of.

The thing is that I was kinda freaked out, but realistically who wouldn`t be? But, I felt no aprehention,....except that up till it disappeared I thought someone broke into my house. I`ve had these feelings that I was sharing my house with these entities the whole 15yrs. I`ve lived here, just not as pronounced as recently. I have had some incidents where I am terrified, like I know if I can turn around fast enough, I will be face to face with it,......them,...whatever you wanna call this. At any rate I think that if they mean harm....they`ve had 15yrs. to do harm. Personally, I get the feeling that they are getting thier jollies off of thinking they are freaking me out. I am sitting in the dark right now typing this, and I feel there is something over my shoulder watching, or reading....who knows. (pretty freaky!) My dog (a pitbull) is acting wierder than normal. If you remember in my 1st entry I said about my dogs barking at the wall? Well, about 3 weeks ago I was re-arranging my bedroom, and I moved an antique mirror onto that wall. It has gotten worst ever since. (I just remembered moving the mirror there) Could that be something? Anyhow maybe if Syrena can tell me of the house cleansing I may need it. I sense that there is good and bad here. The good are welcome, they may even be of help to me. The bad, or evil, I need rid of.

If it is evil you can banish it right then and there, (go locate a banishing spell and some herbs before calling it to the table)

The second possibility is that the fabric of space and time is bending. I don't know how to explain it, but sometimes when you see something out of the corner of your eye, it's just an overlap from another realm and planet. It happens, very rarely, I see it all the time in my house, but my house is on a ley line, so it's a place of energy and it's bound to happen. You could research the ley lines for your area to see if you house is situated on a place of energy, but this is the least likely possibility.

If anything, ghosts aren't scary and grabbing your gun wouldn't have mattered if it was a ghost, they're already dead . . . !

I know I can`t shoot a ghost! (geez! LOL) I was saying that it looked like the silloette of a real person standing in my living room. I wouldn`t ever want to, but if a person ever comes into my home to do me, or my son harm, they are very stupid. Anyhow, I have found a banishing spell, and tonite I will cast a circle, and call on it, and see what is going on. I don`t know how wise this decision is, but I have to do it. Whoever was here first.....whatever, this has been MY home for 15yrs. and I wont be intimidated by anyone, especially a dead one! I am gonna have a recorder too. Maybe catch some EVP or something. So, I did as I said I would, and nothing seemingly happened, but I no longer feel all the negetive energy in my house, so I dunno. It either worked, or I have been drinking too much coffee at nite, and I was just tweeking. At any rate, no more worries, so it worked.

What is it that draws a ghost to a certain persons home? Like the one in this paticular case?

Nononono.. Don't do the automatic 'there's a ghost in my house, it must be evil if it's here'. That's just stupid (no offense, it's my opinion :P).

Instead, you need to try and talk to it. The ghost likes playing tricks. But, does he like doing it when you're in a rush or a hurry? Or is it just when you're going to the store? Just because you feel cold -doesn't- mean he's evil, that just means he's near to you or is paying attention to you.

The way I deal with my ghosts, is to communicate with them. When I lived in Idaho, I lived in a very old house that had quite a few ghosts living in it. One was mean, but he mostly stayed up in the attic, and the ghost who inhabited the downstairs really liked me, so he made sure the mean ghost wouldn't go downstairs. But, he'd let the ghost push my friends when they went into the bathroom. XD Anyhow, my point is, try talking to them. When your keys dissappear, say 'Why did you take my keys? Where are they?' If you have your mind clear, you might be able to hear them respond. I had thought they took my pantyhose one day, and he told me I had put it in the top drawer of my dresser. Sure enough, that's where they were. He was kind of mad at me for a little while after that. ^_^;

Anyhow, try talking to them. Tell them that you'd really appreciate it if any evil spirits leave, and that you don't like it when they take your stuff. You can say something like 'I don't mind sharing the house with you, so long as we can be friends,' or something silly like that. If they're asses after that and start breaking things, then just tell them to get out.

You don't need to do any magic in order to get a ghost to leave (that doesn't even make sense....), if he really bothers you and you'd rather that he just left, just tell him he's dead and that his loved ones are waiting for him on the other side. Tell him he's an ass and that you don't want him there. Ghosts listen better than people do.

I would never automatically assume that anything is evil just because it is different, but you made a good point. Mankind (most of it) Is always afraid of what it don`t understand, and I think that is the main thing that holds mankind back. If they can`t control it, it must be "evil" Kind of condescending isn`t it?

i know how you feel. the same things seem to happend to me. things will move for no reson. i see flashing lights from time to time. what really freaks me out is when i feel something sit on my bed or lay next to me. it gets really cold, i can feel what ever it is lean up againts my back. this has been happening for a few years. i hope this is normal. i dont feel threatend though. i have seen figures of people outlines,or shadows. once i realize that they are there the disappear.

That`s about the same that has been happening to me too. I don`t know what the siloette was, but I don`t get freaked-out over that kind of stuff. As I said before it has been happening to me for a very long time. Whatever it was I told it to leave, and I haven`t had much of a problem since. I still feel something "watching" me about every night, but I ignore it, and it goes away. I do believe in "ghosts" (I call them spirits) To an extent......I think because of what was happening last month MOST of it is a case of me expecting it, and have a good imagination. Any way, It seems I was right, if you don`t let them freak you out, they soon loose interest.

That's happened to me before too. The scariest experience I've had with a ghost, was that there was one who 'lived' in my friend's closet, and I was sleeping over at her house. My bed/blankets were on the floor in front of the closet door, and I felt him reach out and grab at my hair and blankets!

i dont get freaked out very easily, but i wasnt expecting to see my friend standing there looking at me. ive tryed to talk to him, its worked a few times but its really emotional. i miss brandon a lot. i have been interested in spitualism... im not sure who can be living in my room. i have a feeling that it is two men ane one lady. i have a lot of relatives thaty have died in the last few years, but it could also be someone who doesnt even know me. im not sure. maybe they are lonely, thats why they are reaching out to us?????? to hold on to something human????? something they no longer have... ?????

I think the reason they're still here depends on a lot of things. Like, the house they're in, the person living at the house, and probably whether or not time is willing to let them be reborn. *shrugs* I honestly don't know. I never asked the ghosts. <.<

My parents house was built over an old graveyard (my bedroom was especially spooky). Anyway,there was a spirit in that house,. A child I think. My sister always kept her bedroom door closed and forbid anyone to go in there. One day she yelled at me for taking her hairbrush and for being in her room. I told her that I hadn't been in there. She closed her door and said out loud..."Put it back!" She opened the door and her hairbrush was there. This happened with socks,shoes and all kinds of stuff.

My room was a different story. My room was the coldest in the house! I used to light candles in there and, with no windows open and no air movement of any kind, the candles would just go out. I would leave the room and wait a few minutes before going back in. After about 5 mins. or so ,when I went back in, the candles would re-light themselves in an explosive manner. A brand new candle that had only been lit for a few mins. would end up being less than half it's origional size. I'm so glad that I don't have to sleep in that room anymore. It always freaked me out.
