Indian summer refers to Native American Indians. Who recognized (some) summer could return for awhile early, or a second summer of the same season. I imagine a white man coined the term for "Indian Summer"

well, it has only snowed here twice in my LIFETIME.

It's clear out, with a few whispy clouds and fog coming in, I think. The moon is beautiful. It was supposed to be a blue moon AND a blood moon, but it isn't red to me. . . . it looks like a ball of ice, up in the sky. . . . beautiful but cold somehow. But I know she's not cold ^_^

Due to the appearance of the :sunny: the low tonight will be Jack Danials cold. The coldest night since last Nov. is expected with the lows in the metro area expected to be between 20&25 degrees
