Being the clueless teenager that I am, I was wondering if anyone could possibly take a look at my chart. I'm honestly confused because I've looked it up online a few times, but none of them seem to agree on the sun sign. Sometimes it says Gemini, and most of the time it says Cancer. But, eh, if any of those are correct I should have a Moon in Gemini, which makes enough sense at times, I guess. And supposedly my rising sign's Scorpio, but... oh, I don't know.

www.astro.com is awesome. if you plug in your information, it will give you very detailed info that will take all day to read through. the astrologers there are really good. and it is all free!

I guess it depends on wich ephemiris is used to calculate your chart and how accurate the latitude/longitude coordinates are ....My calculations have your sun at 0.15 degrees of cancer.

Wich feels more "right" to you? I do understand that with your moon in gemini it could be a little hard to discern, but have you tried reading up on the sunsigns and trying on the different characteristics to see what fits best? In my opinion there is a world of difference between cancerians and geminis.

Your ascendant however is in scorpio...incidentally you have pluto on the ascendant wich is at home in scorpio.....I think I'll leave the interpretation up to the pro's though..... :hrmm:

It could also depend if you've been getting a tropical or sideral chart (western versus eastern astrology). But it's likely that you've only seen the tropical chart.

I also get your sun in Cancer, Moon in Gemini and Scorpio Rising. But if you had been born 12 minutes earlier, you'd have had a Geminin Sun, so make very sure of your birth time when going to other astrologers. I've attached a copy of your chart for you to look at. It's lo-res so if you can't read it, let me know and I'll make you a better copy.

Yes, my software also agrees with the chart Keishin posted - Cancer Sun (just), and Scorpio rising.

Is there anything weird about that or something?

But, eh... Thank you, all!

I was honestly leaning more towards Cancer in the first place, and wanted to know exactly what was what because... well, I'm quite mediocre and wanted another's opinion.

No, you're not mediocre, but you don't have much fire in your chart - in fact, you have quite a watery chart with a good dash of air. Now the thing about fire is that it's fun, it's bright and it burns out quickly. When you're 14, the emphasis our society puts on youth is all about fire - go out and play sports, have fun, yell and shout and do all that "fiery" stuff. A chart like yours just doesn't immediately fit in with that particular role - it has a longer fuse and takes a while to get going - but get going it will!

So let's take a look at it - Cancer Sun, Scorpio Ascendant. This is deep and intense - Scorpio looks and learns and observes. You know how people tick far better than most. The Gemini Moon means you *can* talk - it doesn't have to be about deep stuff, but you know how to chat and how to communicate, and your Moon is very close to Mercury, the planet of communication. Now, some planets are better off in one sign than another. Most of us have a mix of "good" and "bad" planets - but take a look at yours:

Mercury "rules" Gemini - and you have Mercury in Gemini. Score five points.
Venus rules Taurus - and you have Venus in Taurus. Score another five.
Mars rules Aries - and you have Mars in Aries. Score another five.
Jupiter rules Sagittarius and Pisces, and is "exalted" in Cancer. You have Jupiter in Cancer. Score four more points.
Saturn rules Capricorn and Aquarius. You have Saturn in Capricorn. Score another five.
Pluto rules Scorpio. You have Pluto in Scorpio. You don't score anything for that, because everyone of you generation has that placement - but you have him right on your Ascendant. Go on, score another five.

The main "bad" aspect you've got in your chart is Jupiter opposite Saturn/Neptune/Uranus making a square to Mars. But Jupiter is such a nice guy, that even squares to Jupiter aren't that bad. The usual interpretation of Mars square Jupiter is impulsiveness, but with a Cancer Sun and Scorpio Ascendant? No, I don't think so - you think before you act. And Pluto on the Ascendant, making a trine to Jupiter - that's powerful. You will come to understand what power is all about, and how it works, and how to use it.

This is a powerful and rich chart. Medieval astrologers would say this is a chart that suggests money will flow to you without even thinking about it - and yet you probably don't actually care that much about money one way or the other; it's not going to be a big focus in your life, but it will be there. This is a chart of power, and you perhaps have the attitude that you won't abuse that power. That power isn't going to be terribly obvious at 14, but in a few years time it will be.

I don't think I have ever seen so many planets in rulership or exaltation. This is a blessed chart.
