I feel more comfortable using the tarot for this than my pendulum since you can find out why yes or why no. Anyways what layout do you use for Y/N questions, one card, 3 card other?

I don't use my tarot for yes/no questions....infact I don't like yes/no questions.... if someone asks one, I get them to reword their question. So, 'is my husband cheating?' would be reworded as, "what is going on in my relationship that I should be aware of". I have no explination as to why... it's just the way I was trained.

I've tried one yes or no method with my tarot that I found in Dorothy Morrisson's "Everyday Tarot Magic". Proceed as you would with any layout normally (concentration, asking your question, shuffling and so forth) then lay out the cards face up into one pile. When you get to an ace, stop. If not, stop when you have laid down thirteen cards. Continue on with two more piles in the exact same manner. If all aces turn up, then it's a yes. If no aces turn up, then it's a no.

However, this method just will not work for me no matter how many times I try. Frankly, I'm beginning to wonder if there is some yes or no unconscious message I am missing out on with the tarot.

Hmm haven't tried that one I'll give it a shot and see if it works for me. I usually do a 3 card spread.
