ok. Now, I know disney plushies tend to be a little creepy anyway, but. . . .
A plushie I was given as a gift that was perfectly fine, has recently started exhibiting weird ickyness. ^^; I know, such scientific statements. At any rate, is there any way to banish nasty energies/entities/etc from plushies? Because it's rather cute and I used to sleep with it, and it's a special thing.
any help would be appreciated! 8O

:)
Well, perhaps you could just cleanse it? You know use some sage, salt water or whatever and give it a try :)
It might work! :D

I'd give it to my ex-husband...as a gift.
Seriously, I've read that if you bury something for a time, the earth will cleanse it. I've personally never had to do that, so this is only something I have read somewhere one could do.

Ok, all laughing aside.
Presumably you can cleanse the thing as you would cleanse anything else. Have you tried smudging it, using holy water, blowing incense smoke on it, doing a ritual to cleanse it, burying it, leaving it in sunlight or moonlight, or anything else?

 disney toys are not evil LOL
here is a very off the wall suggestion, but I speak from experience here...
perhaps it is not the toy itself that is evil, when you consider that your higher self uses symbolism to communicate with you, perhaps the imagery of the toy, strikes a chord deep in your psyche...mabey something is trying to surface, like mabey a new talent or a mesg for you........how have your dreams been lately???
 hey if tarot cards can help us why cant plush toys too?:p

LOL well I've been thinking on it, and I think that when I was in a really horrible mood, I shoved a bunch of dark energy into the poor thing. . . so it's prolly my fault ^_~ no wonder it's so creepy! hmm I'll try the smudging and salting things. . . .if nothing else, it'll be clean and smell nice! hehe

nah.
If it is dark energy you think you gave it, then the best way to get rid of it is to set it in the window and let the sunlight hit it..
and while that is going on, a simple meditation will help it along,
sit comfy, ready? ok
breathe, realx let go, etc (standard starting steps)
next, (eyes closed no peeking) visualise yourself standing in a golden ray of light, see yourself , feel it , feel the warmth and notice how it makes you all tingly and feel the cook breeze on your face, smell the Jasmine in the air.....next , visualise, see the light radiating from you and totally saturate stuffy (sitting there in the window all quiet like) see the light enveloping the toy and watch as the dark energy leaves in a cloud of greyish smoke....allow the grey smoke to dissapear into the light...
sit for a fe moments and ground and center......
and when you are ready....slowly , gently open your eyes....knowing whatever dark entity was there in the toy is gone...
try that

I went on a tour with "ghost hunters" Ed and Lorraine Warren and they have in their basement what they call a possessed doll. I can't remember what it was but they swear it is the epitomy of evil, the devil himself. I can't say one way or the other how true it is but the thought of a doll being evil is way too eerie for me! :ahhhh: :ahhhh: :ahhhh:

LOL amora...I don't buy into anything that the warrens say or do. I know for a fact that they've lied about several of the cases they supposedly "Solved"...actually..ran away with their tails between their legs. LOL. Good Ghost Story Tellers though.

who are the Warrens?

Famous Ghost Hunters, who live in Connecticut. They are world reknowned, but..IMO .flim flam artists. They worked on the amityville horror house. They do excorcisms (supposedly, though they claim to have excorcized some houses which are still VERY paranormally active).....and the wife is a clairvoyant. Ed and Lorraine Warren. Can't stand em. They also, btw..claim that there is no such thing as a "Good Witch". That all "witchcraft" comes from the devil.

Well..as I said...they're great story tellers. I've gone to a couple of their programs, around halloween, where they tell all of their experiences, with a slide show, and sound bytes, etc. It's good for the "Spooky" feel...i just don't see how people can put their faith in them, personally:)

LMAO!! That reminds me of how my father warned me that if I say i'm pagan people will think I worship satan. . . .and then he gave me this weird look as though what he meant to say was "are you sure you don't worship satan?" LOL

That reminds me! They said something about 3 am being the witching hour...the hour of satan and evil or something along those lines and I felt pretty offended. If I would have known they were serious about thinking that I'd have stood up and told them what to do with their hour of evil!
Wow...I can't believe I forgot about that...it's all coming back to me now

Back to possessed stuffies: Bury it in salt for three days then let it sit in a window where it can be exposed to both sunlight and moonlight. Consecrate it.

Hey man - if it is washable - throw it in the washer. Lots of soap.
You might think I am kidding, but it should work.
ALso, hang it outside in a tree.....works for me...

Quiet...i used to live in Danbury :)
The Warrens, I believe, are from Washington CT. But if you run a search on Ed & Lorraine Warren, you are sure to find numerous websites either by them, or about them. They run a "museum" of sorts out of their house. As I said, I think they are from Washington, I know it's something up that way...near Newtown, etc...the name is on the tip of my tongue...Durn. Anyway..should be easy enough to find.
I caught one of their lectures at a Ramada Inn, in Danbury.
Incidentally, they were called in to investigate the Amityville Horror house.
And have been featured on some of the "Travel Channells" haunted specials, and on "Scariest Places on Earth" on occasion. But I heard Ed just had a heart attack.

Yep, Yep. We're about 15 minutes from Putnum, CT...which is about 20 minutes away from Storrs. So..figure it from there....I think it would be about an hour, to an hour and a half away. Because I know that once my husband and I get to the Highway in Hartford, it's about an hour away from Danbury. It takes us 2 and a half hours to get to Danbury, from here. We've done it in 2 hours fifteen minutes, though.
