That's what my furbaby, Bingo, has.
We discovered it a few weeks ago. Maybe a month ago. He was up all night hacking and wheezing, and my mom and I initially thought it was a hairball...until he didn't sleep at all that night, was so exhausted he was falling asleep on his feet, and had white gums—which indicated he wasn't getting enough oxygen. And his breathing was labored, and sounded...liquidy.
Anyway, we got him treated, got him on meds for the condition, and all was well.
Until last night. Even with the pills, it suddenly started acting up. Hacking and wheezing. And he's falling back into that condition, weakness, difficulty breathing, hacking...
I called the vet and am waiting for his return call now.
And if anyone has any energy or prayers to spare, please send them Bingo's way. I'm worried sick about him...I've had him since I was 9 and he was 3-weeks old (his mother stopped nursing early) and saw him the day he was born, and he'll be 12 in June this year, and...well, I don't know much about his condition, even though I've researched some of it. And why his medication would cease having an effect...
