I feel for you...my kids did that too...best bet would be to get masking tape and tape it real well. It works for me as well as putting the diaper on backwards that worked for one of mine as well.

It's just a phase and hopefully a rather quick one...pull-ups are too dang expensive for your baby to be ripping off!

*hugs* they grow up really fast, do enjoy your little streaker while you can! :)

Yes it's a stage I'm afraid. It's an odd one too. Luckily Julia did that during the summer months. I just let go naked.

Ah the joys of parenting that await me. :falloffch

Seriously, duct tape doesn't sound like a bad plan. Although it may make it hard to take the diaper off yourself.

*Passes on some Super Glue, too.*

My sister and I did the same thing as babies... we're born nudists. _firedevil Mom said all she had to do was change the brand of diapers she bought for us and all was well.

These days go so fast... its frustrating now, but these are the things you'll remember when the little guy is a man.

Encourage potty use at this time.
He may catch on quick.

Glue 'em to the toilet. Problem solved. Now you can relax.

My son did that. It was an indication that he was ready for potty training and he was only 14 months old. He also hated the potty chair, so I had to help him balance on the toilet.

Just make sure that you wrap it all the way around with the ends meeting in the back. I quickly found out that just a piece over each tab doesn't work.

Give toilet training a go now, I was pretty much that age when I was toilet trained (and then I didn't ever wet the bed until I was 8 lol). Maybe your little one is trying to tell you something! It's more subtle than my approach, which was "No more nappy Mummy, nappy yucky!" Try him without them for a few days and see what happens :)

hah I didn't wear diapers as a little kid. My relatives let me run around naked outside.

my kids were both little nudists, when I could I let them be that way and when I needed them to keep em on, I dresed them in coveralls or something more difficult to get off, my daughter used to steal my sons diapers and put them on herself too, that was annoying

Sounds like he's ready for potty training.

My kids were all potty trained before they turned 2;)

Have you tried onesies?

I'm gonna have to get me some for my daughter, she likes to sleep w/out a diaper or pull-up on and it's gotten old. I don't know why I didn't think of this.

I went through this with my kids as well. One thing that sort of worked was putting the daipers on backwards. We also encouraged potty training, though we didn't push. My son trained late, but when he did, pretty much NO accidents. And we've done the duct tape thing as well. Pull-ups are pretty easy to tear off, so I'm not sure that would really work.

Yep thats what I did! I made him wear over alls! ROFL!! I went to see the cost of pull ups and they wanted 20.32 for 52 pull ups and I decided to buy another pack of size 4 diapers which also come with 52 but for 12.54

That's perfectly normal for kids.

My friend's little guy did the same thing. They switched diaper brands, tried pullups, put them on backwards, and put clothes over them. Try all of those, maybe one will work.

Yep, mines 17 month tomorrow and she likes to be naked too. Most of the time we can get her to keep her clothes on. We give her naked time though, before a bath or between night time clothes and day time clothes. I hope we’ve reached a compromise and she doesn’t get naked downtown.

*think, think, think* While my little darlings had plenty of annoying habits while growing up, I don't remember them doing this particular one... Good luck with it. I agree with some others and think you might try potty training. My oldest potty trained about that time.

One of my friends duct taped her diapers on her kids (she had twins) they would take off eachothers diapers. She said it worked like a charm, she just got odd looks thats all. lol
