Amazing Sand Sculptures

I used to date a guy who did these many years ago. We have quite a few of these competitions here in Daytona and they're always awesome to look at.

WOW!! We typically have a sand sculpture contest each year at our local fair -- though it's mostly for the kids, so you don't see anything THIS intricate. Thank you for shareing them! They're amazing!

Discovery, or TLC or one of those stations just had a show on the other day about a sand sculpting contest and all the work that goes into it. It's just... wow :)

Wow... and to think some of us make little castles out of sand and think thats impressive. These guys are good.

That's really cool!! I especially like the ones that incorporate "natural" texture of the sand to make it look more realistic like the skeleton, the lion, and the dinosaur/giant reptile. It looks so good, it's hard to believe it's not real and created out of sand.
