Lighting candles in accordance with specific times is a very powerful use of your desire and intent with the vibrational level of all.
The founder of the Ketch Institue of Metaphysics puts out a calendar which deliniates particular auspicous times to work this magick daily. I give credit to Dr. Ketch and her work and from time to time will post this information for educational purposes:

In order for candle lighting to be successful, there must be balance. Whne you try to control your environment, by taking the free will of others, you are giving up your own free will, thus creating an imablance in nature, and disrupting the balance within your own universe. You should not manipulate the free will of others by lighting candles for your own selfish gain. Always maintain your dignity when lighting candles. If there is something that you want, you must first ascertain whether or not it is yours to have.

Before you light a candle to get "something", you must first confer with you conscious. Your conscious will always be truthful to you. If your conscious tells you it is not yours to have, and you light candle to obtain "it" anyway, you will get what you desire, but the energy you create in doing so will come with karmic strings attached. These strings will have long lasting and far-reaching ramifications, thus creating issues and problems in other areas of your life.

That which is important to life is light, and to light is color. When we use this light and its color to dictate our emotional well beig, we will be in harmony with that which we feel we are trying to consummate in this life. This is not a form of control. It is merely desire to sitmulate ourselves to achieve, and not to stagnate or submit ourselves into suppression. When lighting colored candles, you are saying, "I want to achieve," and "I want to be happy."

Please note posts are in Military time so that no confusion of am or pm occurs.

From February 1st the minute after midnight until the 8th at &:12 is the Bring time frame. Light candles during this time to bring your desires to you.

Monday February 5th
Light a Yellow candle at 6:10 so that the assistance you need from others will be there for you and so that you might return the favor to them.
Light a Yellow candle at 7:15 to stimulate your ability to be creative.
Light a Green candle at 12:22 to secure the good health as well as innocence which will solicit luck in your life as well as that of your children.


Tuesday February 6th
At 11:00 light a Green candle to stimulate your self worth.

Wednesday February 7th
At 11:20 light a Pink candle so that your relationship will be stable, honest and with pure intent.

Don't let your past rule your future.

Sat Feb 10th 11:30
light a Pink candle to insure strength in your relationships.

Trust yourself.

light a Green candle to realse your fear of finances. Money cannot hurt you. What you do with it could, use judgement.

I think the first magick that I ever did was a candle ritual. I was part of a coven and was doing rites and such, but no actual magick, so I went and did a candle ritual on my own. Big mistake...it worked, and I was at that vengeful, immature age. Thankfully, I was able to disperse it, but there were still after effects. *sighs*

absolutely, human and learning here in my direction since If you never do, you never learn and if you never learn, you never do. Have to just keep at it, mistakes and all, take what we learn, bad and good and work towards better until we become proficient with pratice.

Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. "

One of my habits is lighting candles :)

I have to say that candle magik is my chosen method of madness!!! I love to meditate on the flame and I feel like I have something tangible to see when I am sending energy and it is being sent in the form of a candle burning.

are there any books you suggest about the color and times you told about!! how did you learn and how long have u been at this candles are my release and the power does work. This i have seen personally after being offered a better job i did ask for a clue and assistance with my choice. And even added about help not to make still another mistake. My I did not expect such an eye opener and not that fast. You see the next morning after thinking about it all night at work I was fired. I recieved my answer right then I do have that better job andthe stress factor in my life is 1/3 of what it was.
I have only been at this for about 1 year and feel like a babe lost in the dark but hungry to learn all that is out there about it! People talk about novels they can't put down and this is what i am like with these books and i have noticed many are conflicting on the colors used for what
ANY input is GREATLY appreciated!!!!

I once made the mistake of having our female dog in the room when working a little candle magick to enhance my love life. Boy you wouldn't believe the result. For about two weeks our dog went around humping everyone's leg then as suddenly quit. It was a lesson reminding me to be careful and that every spell, no matter how carelessly cast gets results. As to the dog's behavior, all I can think of is that she caught some of the latent energy from the spell, poor thing.It might be interesting to share some of our humorous experiences with those fickle fates, perhaps even a new thread?
