I have been making bathbombs for about 9 months. they've been really successful and I have given many as gifts. Recently I invested in a mold so that I can make ball-shaped ones. However, I cannot make them work! I tried taking them out of the mold after a while and they break into nothing. I tried leaving them in the mold and still they look like they have begun bubbling inside the mold and don't look right. I've tried making the mixture more wet and more dry but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have any hints or tips that I could try? I've invested in a large quantity of the main ingredients so I don't want to give up!
thanks :bouncybob

Hm, I'm no exper to the bathbomb-making process, but when I made them for gifts two years ago, I remember that I made them free-form, and very little moisture included in the mixture. I.e. oil (if I remember the recipe, oil is about the only thing that you put in that ISN'T a dry ingredient, aside from the essential oil essence). I formed balls with my hands, and small ones, so they stuck pretty well. If yours are bubbling, as they would once they hit the bath water, they would be getting too much moisture, to my thinking.
Good luck--maybe someone else has more precise advice!
