Help me set the ink on my daughter's jeans

She went to a concert and the lead singer of the band (who knows who they were. . .she says they are famous in the alternative scene) signed her jeans. . .

So, how do I set the ink. She hasn't washed them in a month. . .cuz she wants to keep the sig. . .

Ideas?

Well, vinegar will set dye, it may work for the ink. (not sure)
