well possibly..
I live in an OLD building going back to at least 1865 and upto now things have been peaceful here. I usually feel stuff to be honest and I have found this place to be very peaceful. That was until last night.
I eldest daughter who to be honest has emtional problems (she is virtually17) woke us up because as she went to goto the toilet that night she SWEARS she saw what she intially thought was me, insofar as she even jumped and said "crap Nicky you scared me" and when she turned round fully there was nobody there.
She totally freaked and ran upto our bedroom and wouldnt go downstairs without one of us, saying "i'm really scared, I saw something I know I did and I'm not going down by myself".
She says its a woman that she saw with a long white dress/nightie, but its sounds like a split second thing. The thing is, she had just woken up so could have just been her tired eyes seeing something there, and although she can be a drama queen you cant get away from the fact that she was generally scared.
From what I can tell a lot of the buildings along here were owned by textile merchants its not clear whether or not this building was a trading building or lived in originally although it seem to be part of the building downstairs which used to be a shop so I think here was the living quarters at least of the shop owners.
edit: I have since found out that the building was built by a Dr William Payne to house his rather large family of 6 children!
The building next door that is newspaper offices which i thought might have been a merchant, has apparenlty always been a newspaper office.
So anyway was thinking of doing like a cleansing or something, if it is a spirit I dont wanna piss it off, but I had enough of spirits and the like scaring the shit out of my kids at the last place. So what should I do??
