Why??????

We went to auction the other day to get 1 rooster because we have hen chicks on the way. No we are nto going to put the together until after the hens have had a chance to get up to weight and size but anyways back to the birds. We ended up getting three giant barred rock rooster (Black and white striped) for about 7.50 for all three not bad. so we have them in the basment rith now in a crate half the size of the basement they don't fight and are very calm for being 14LBS a peice. but now every morning promptly at 530 am we are awakend by the the three alarm clocks AAAAAHHHHHH :razz: :razz: if my roomate does not get them out of there soon Im having roasted chicken or chicken and dumplings.

I take some that sounds good. I would hate to have that for an alarm clock.

Roosters are noisy buggers, unfortunately. Get used to your wakeup call...or get some earplugs.

oh we used to have chickens before. but they were bantys not these monster chickens.
