I am, really really new to all of this, and I would really like it if some of you could help me. I don't know what I'm doing, and I don't understand this site......:huh:

each category is where u can find different types of discussions, we call them threads, why dont you go to the general talk section and Introduce yourself so we can give you a big MW welcome and roll out the welcome wagon :)

So what is each thing under everyone's name? Mine says Neophyte or something like that, what does that mean?????

You have to go to your profile and either go to edit options or user options I am not sure which one, but in one of those catergories, scroll down and there is a thing called title and you can change it to whatever ya want:) You can also change your avatar anytime you want to as well:)

Well Merry meet and welcome to start with. :)

As for the neophyte thing, you are called that because you are new here, and if you do nothing about it it will change after a few posts, to practicus, theoricus etc. However if you like to you can change it to something else that you believe fits you. To change it go to profile and then I am not exactly sure under what topic it is, but look around there and you will find it. :)

As for this community as a whole, it might seem a bit confusing at first, it is a rather large community. Look around and you will soon get the hang of it, and if you have any questions just ask! :) :D

If you have any questions ask! There is a thread at the top that says "links for newbies" which offers some good reading. And like Xander said, there are a bunch of forums for all different subjects with all kinds of discussions going on inside them. Take the time to just look around from the beginning - you'll see all the forums listed there, and the threads (discussions) inside the forum when you click on the forum name. Good luck!
