Finally got an email from the company I ordered the binders and paper from. Might I recommend to all do NOT order from greenhome.com There concept of eco-friendly, recycled products is awesome... however I got screwed.....

They use drop-shippers, which in and of itself is no big deal. It means they don't keep stock on hand, they take orders and forward them to the distributer who then ships to the person ordering. A LOT of online companies do that, it's fairly normal practice.

However it's been over a month since I ordered, many, many emails (I've been emailing them daily for two weeks) and they finally responded to say:

Hi Gwynne,

We are so happy for your order, and so sad that the maker of these fine
binders did not send them in a timely manner. We are to be quite frank
having problems with them, and I am now aware of this problem, and am on the
case.

If I don't get confirmation within 48 hours that these products have
shipped, I will refund your card. But I am hoping that is not the case.

Please stand by a little longer as we investigate.

Thanks for thinking green!

Warmly,

~ Green Home Customer Service

This was four days ago, still no word, and I've been emailing them... I'm hoping it's just because it's the weekend that I haven't heard back from them....

I'm currently searching for a new place to get the binders, I don't want to use cheap plastic ones (I hate how they look....) and I'll keep everyone updated!

Hey Aine, how about these?

Those are exactly the kind of binders I ordered, though still no word on them. I've been in the hospital again this week, so haven't been on, or doing much of anything. I'll see about ordering from them, and hopefully that goes better than the other company. It looks like they are also about $1.00 less per binder as well.

^_^

Did you order the paper from the same place? The site I linked might have the paper too, but I didn't check.
