Discussion on the High Priestess

hello,
I just wanted to discuss this card a bit, I have been doing readings for a while now, I first got into tarot ten years ago, I still enjoy readings, and I do my own most of the time. I have done a few online which went quite well, I offer them in my live chatroom if anyone is interested.
okay enought about me, The High priestess is a very difficult card, I always draw it, I was wanting to know some of your thoughts on this card as far as readings go, now most of the time this card says to me, than I already know the answer,...lol yeah It really does say that to me, and it also suggest that I look deeper into myself in order to find the right answers if I am not sure of something in my life.
but sometimes it doesn't make sence to me in readings, does anyone else feel this way, I think the reason why I draw this card so much is because in numerology my life number is 2, as well in tarot The High Priestess is number 2, and honestly now that I have learned numerology it go's well with tarot, and I see connections alot between them,
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I also agree that the High Priestess can be a hard card to interpret within a spread. Probably because the heart of the meaning is: mystery, hidden messages, favouring intuition over logic, a place between realities..... generally a lot mystery! hehehe

I seem to get this card a lot in the crosses/ supports position.... which is like hello! what does that mean?! hahaha I usually have to go with my own intuition at that moment to give it the correct meaning in the reading. Sometimes it means one is not listening to their inner voice/ intuition. Or that wisdom will come from unconventional means like a dream, vision, or tarot reading!

Yeah, you're pretty much right Rhianna...... this is what I found:

The High Priestess represents the mysteries of the unconscious and the Inner Voice, and her appearance is often a sign that your own intuition is trying to send you a message. The unconscious often speaks to us in symbols, so be alert around you for anything that seems out of the ordinary. This said, if you have an important decision to make when the Priestess appears, this is often a sign that the answers will be revealed to you, if you are patient and open to the whispers from within. You simply have to wait and be receptive to inner messages. Her lesson is that everything you need to know already exists within you.

I also feel that The High Priestess can mean that I am not listening to my inner self, when I should have in the first place!haha
