Petalite

Has any one had any experience with this stone? I had come upon it by concentrating on what I wanted to establish (open up a channel with my spirit guides.)and opening my crystal book at random. The page was on petalite. I later had a dream about this stone. I know of some of its properties from the book but I was wondering if anyone had personal experience with this stone and what kind of energy did it bring to them.
