My floors are in desperate need of some TLC--short of refinishing them how can I best clean and polish them using non-chemical or very very low chemical indredients?
Also, is there an organic way to get the green tint of the beginnings of moss off of a deck? I think it looks kind of pretty, but I don't own the deck!

Well it is a commercial cleaner but Murphy's Oil Soap is good for hardwood floors. For the deck you can spray it down with bleach water.

Old English seems to be pretty good at getting hardwood floors clean and leaving them looking very spiffy. If you're looking for a cheaper, just as good organic alternative, just mix a cup of regular every day vinegar with a bucket of water - that will definitely do the trick and works just as good as any commercial cleaner on the market. ;)
