Safest and Worst Drivers

I saw this article -clickie clickie- (http://www.roadandtravel.com/roadhumor/zodiacdriver.htm) and thought of you guys. An Australian firm took data from insurance companies and determined which astrological signs were the worst and safest drivers.

The ranking (from most accidents to least) is:

1. Gemini, May 21-June 21
2. Taurus, April 20-May 20
3. Pisces, February 19-March 20
4. Virgo, August 23-September 22
5. Cancer, June 22-July 22
6. Aquarius, January 20-February 18
7. Aries, March 21-April 19
8. Leo, July 23-August 22
9. Libra, September 23-October 22
10. Sagittarius, November 22-December 21
11. Scorpio, October 23-November 21
12. Capricorn, December 22-January 19

My tongue-firmly-in-cheek reasoning:

1. Gemini - too busy talking on the phone to drive
2. Taurus - okay, I'm comfy, gas tank is full, life is goo . . . WAIT . . . is that a drive-thru?
3. Pisces - what car?
4. Virgo - too busy being exactly 2.5 car lengths (+/- 1 foot) behind the erratic Gemini to see that they've been cut off by a semi, driven by that Aries
5. Cancer - the moon is full and they have become raving lunatics, crying for their mommies
6. Aquarius - thinking about their idea for the personal hovercraft and its application in the year 2075, and not looking at the road
7. Aries - road rage, enough said
8. Leo - the road IS mine, so if your're in my way, too bad for you!
9. Libra - on the way back from the lastest shopping spree, they're rifling through their bags at a stoplight (they ARE ruled by Venus, Goddess of tons of stuff and goodies)
10. Sagittarius - they have blinders on so don't know what's arund them or what they've run into
11. Scorpio - being secretive and unpredictable they don't want to share their intent by using a turn signal
12. Capricorn - Excuse me, I'm driving. Please don't break my concentration.

I dunno. It doesn't say whether they considered who was at fault. I've been hit twice because I thought I had time to clear an intersection but the other driver was going way over the speed limit. About three years ago I stopped behind a school bus at a stoplight and the driver backed that puppy into me! What I'm saying is that I'm a ScorpiTarius and none of the accidents I've been in were my fault. In fact, I've avoided several by watching out for other drivers. (Which would still leave inattentive Geminis at the top of the list. :lol: )

I drive erratic. My freinds are aways commenting on my brackish (I like the sound of the word not the def. ;) ) driving. While heaving footing I tend weave in and out of traffic coming just less than a yard from other cars. I trust my brakes more than I do myself. Physics, inertia, and kinetic just so happen to be my thing.

But not one accident I caused or was in. *runs to find a BIG tree*

My father's a Capricorn. He's only been in one wreck, when he was driving in the snow to get to work--gee, does the idea of driving in the snow to WORK sound Capricornish to anyone--and a woman slammed on her brakes, and he was forced to go off into the ditch to avoid hitting her and causing a major mess on the ice.

My mom's a Libra/Gemini. She's guilty of both Libra and Gemini crimes.

My sister's a Pisces/Gemini/Leo. She drives like a Leo, but is clever and deft like a Gemini. Hence she terrifies most of her passengers, but has yet to be in a wreck. *chuckles* KEishin hit it dead on.
