do you open email forwards or just delete without even checking them out. Remember there are tons of em. especially the FW: FW: or longer varitey.

they are the modern day chain letter.

personally I usaually delete them especially with all the viruses and worms running about, its a safe bet , but you can always use anti virus and worm guard protection to scan your email...not alwyas 100 % safe

I usually open them, most of them are from friends of mine and they are pretty nice and funny to get. I am always careful before opening any attachments in e-mails though. But our anti virus program scans every e-mail I get and let's me know if there is a virus or any thing else suspicous there. :)

I open them. I don't get very many. Most of my friends don't send them. I only get them from my mother and my bestest friend. My "bestest friend" only sends out the true gems; she's on tour right now, and doesn't really mess with e-mail while doing that kind of traveling. So... Yep, I open them. :p

They're all a load of poo, basically. If you've got it from a friend, then u can read it safely, but i normally just delete 'em anyhows. I hardly ever reply to them.

I delete them. My friends know I hate them so they wouldn't send them, and I'm really not interested at all.

Sometimes, we wonder why friends keep forwarding jokes to us without writing a word, maybe this could explain:

When you are very busy, but still want to keep in touch, guess what you do --you forward jokes.

When you have nothing to say, but still want to keep contact, you forward jokes.

When you have something to say, but don't know what, and don't know how, you forward jokes. And to let you know that you are still remembered, you are still important, you are still loved, you are still cared for, guess what you get? A forwarded joke.

So my friend, next time if you get a joke, don't think that you've been sent just another forwarded joke, but that you've been thought of today and your friend on the other end of your computer wanted to send you a smile. =)

Makes you think doesn't it?

I almost always delete them immediately. Therea reonly one or two people I know that ever send forwards that I'm interested in.. lately it's been some really clever photographs that have been touched up. ^_^

i've got a friend, (NOT in this forum!) who sends me every "uplifting" chain letter she finds, i just delete them after checking them. yvonne has a point about sending jokes, i do that sometimes for the reason she said, one thing to never, never do is open any attachment with an ".exe" extension, it will almost certainly be a virus.

I love to share a smile or a laugh and forward what makes me smile because it's the only way I have to do it. I have 4 kids and I try to keep up with all the housework for that and stay online and be with my friends. Whe I forward say Celtic_Angela joke I can see her sitting on my couch laughing like we did when we lived closer. For me it is a way of reaching out.
