Hiya friends!
I thought it would be fun to discuss what we (if anything in terms of diviantion) are planning to use to celebrate Samhain with!
I am planning to cast the runes for a yearly spread regarding divination. Scry with my Saturn Spa ball and swing my pendulum ;)at some stage during the celebration ritual!
Getting excited!

...since it's Ancestor Night in my tradition, I reckon I'll have to cast the Runes & do a layout with the Wolf cards, eh? that should take care of most of my ancestors... :p

I'm planning Tarot and Rune practicings, and another attempt at my spirit board-- I have terrible luck with it.

Probably quite a bit of everything - I'll probably spread some cards, and runes, and gaze into my crystal ball for a few minutes, as well as getting the ouija board out :)

Great! Lets hope all our nights will be powerfull and all our anchestors/spirits/gods and godesses and the energies will enjoy too :D
Has anyone got any special spreads to use for Samhain? That would be really interesting :)

I was thinking this might be an interesting time to try the one-year spread to give me an idea on what to expect influence-wise in the year ahead! I may try that :) I'm also tempted to drag out the ouija board ;) but I'm always wanting to do that! haha

Me too Emy :)
What does everyone think of making a spirit/quija board for Samhain? Ive been interested in one for a while now ~ does it matter if you make one instead of buying one?

I don't think it matters at all. My Mum used to use letters cut out on slips of paper, put in a circle on a flat surface, and then a wine glass or some other light glass tipped upside-down for the thingy that moves. You would touch the tip of your finger to it to give it energy to move.
I have also seen instructions similar to that, only using a large picture frame. You make can draw letters and numbers on a large sheet of paper and put it under the glass, then use a wine glass or similar for the thing that moves. I think I've heard that shot glasses can also work, but they strike me as being a little heavy *shrug* I dunno.
I have a board already made myself. :)

Thanks for the info Lilu :) ~ Ive tried that before (cutting up pieces of paper and a wine glass) when I was younger and it worked really well so I think Ill give it another go :)
