I have the sneaking feeling that that wouldn't be a good idea unless you, your clothes, your house, your family, furniture, and pets all happen to be made of asbestos.
You could always douse a goose in gasoline and torch the thing. What a splendid way to get rid of excess geese, which is any geese at all.

You want to.. "conjure" the Phoenix?
I have sat here and thought over this. First of all, while there aren't as many people who work with the Phoenix as there are that work with Dragons, I know several of us who do, and some who might take offense at someone who doesn't quite understand the nature of the Phoenix asking how to "conjure" it/him/her. (Not that I'm saying you don't understand, but really, asking to conjure such an entity??)
Anyways.. no, I don't know how to conjure the Phoenix, since well.. without getting into how I work with her too deeply, you can't just go POOF and the Phoenix appears for you. It just doesn't work that way, with ANY entities/deities (hence the joking remarks that have been posted here thus far).
If you're serious in working with the Phoenix, I suggest doing some research into the cultures where the Phoenix appears in legends and myths. Asian (good to note, NOT just Japan and China; Russia IS part of Asia), Egyptian, North *and* south American.. all good places to start.
Just remember that the Phoenix represents change, death and rebirth, among other things. Be prepared for some serious work, or you WILL get burned (no pun intended).

There's a story I read in a high school English class about a Phoenix. A zoo came by one and decided to draw people and make money by causing it to be reborn, so they mistreat and neglect the poor thing, condemning it to a slow death, really. Anyway, a huge group gathers when it's time for it to be reborn, including television cameras, newspaper recorders, etc. The bird bursts into flame...and the fire consumes most if not the entire zoo.
My point is, unless you know what you're doing, don't mess with any magical being/creature/entity.

There's a chapter in D.J. Conway's "Magickal Mythical Mystical Beasts - How to Invite Them into Your Life" on the Phoenix.
***Here are some extracts that I got from the Phoenix section***
Psychological Attributes: The ability to overcome every partial death (change) which we must suffer in life. Rising out of the ashes of an old, devastating way of existence with the energy and knowledge needed to build a better life.
Magickal Attributes: Rebirth, renewal, spritual growth. Call upon the Phoenix for strength and renewing energy when facing or undergoing trials in life.

I would recommand you to do some research and learn more about 'summoning' a phoenix. Like what Bainidhe said, this is serious stuff --- any errors/mistakes or careless actions might lead to something greater than what you expected.

Deathwalker you are my favorite Troll.
Here is a spell which I borrowed from ATERCORAX which I believe will do the trick for you...
With red paint (or maybe your own blood) inscribe an "L" on your forehead.
Then, get a few red candles (they could be white) and put them around you in a circle. Focus on the "L" on your forehead for an hour or so until you start getting tired. (I think the focusing should help you with the third eye or something.)
Now, after doing that, go outside and see if people react to you differently. If some people point at you (and maybe laugh), that means that the spell was successful.
After this, you should wait at least nine hours for your 'Phoenix' to appear.
Good luck!
