I've sprained tendons and damaged muscle in my foot and was looking for something that would help in the healing process. So far I've only really found things relating to healing sicknesses rather than muscle or even bone structures. Would anyone be able to recommend a good ressource that could help?

Maybe check out the green room.I am not sure what you are looking for but many people use herbs and remedies and potions for healing also.

Well, I don't know about resources, but what we do is to stick a thorn into a candle (you could use a poppet, too) (at the base if it's for feet/ankles) and somehow designate the candle to be the right person (you can simply anoint it with the right name, or you could adorn it with personal effects), then while in circle, take the thorn out (saying whatever you like) and smoothing out the wax. Then light the candle and let it burn down to enact the spell. I googled thorn magic and thorn spell but just came up with various card and role-playing games.

Or adapt one of the sickness healing spells. You want to repair damaged tissue and reduce inflammation, so incorporate that. It's not all that different from, say, an ulcer or something.

And check out the green room for herbal aids and such. Magic works with probabilities, so make sure you're not sabotaging you magic. ^_^

Hi Selba,

acupuncture and chinese massage are the most common therapies for bone problems where I live. It even helped my friend who had this kneecap injury problem.

However, if you want magical help, PM me.

massage is good but be careful with that too not to aggrevate it. There is so much you can do for ligament damage, arnica oil was great for inflamation but theres a ton of other stuff too. If its like a sprained ankle, epsom salts in water is good, I heard peppermint oil is good I haven't tried it for inflamation. Chiropractic can be expensive but they can manipulate more then just the backbone and I've had one fix carpel tunnel like symptoms by flicking my arm a certain way. I'd try visualizations. Its hard to say without more details really.

Try using a meditative state and picture the muscles, tendons, etc. knitting together in your minds eye. You can use analogies such as sending in a team of grandmas armed with knitting needles, or a road crew to patch and smooth out bone damage.
I recommend spending a minimum of 15 minutes a day to see results. I use these techniques often myself and like to do it just prior to falling a sleep, so that my subconscious can take over the task of healing while I'm sleeping.
I have successfully used versions of this technique for everything from keeping the arthritis in my knees in check to weight loss.
Best of Luck! and...

Blessings,

The human body is composed of atoms, which contain molecules, each of these molecules contains within it a hologram of your total and complete self. Your brain is capable of producing light which can permeate and infuse each molecule of your body.

Sending, from your brain to the molecules in the area that is transmitting back to your brain, loving energy, will heal faster than anything. It is also helpful to circulate energy above the area with your hand.

Of course, aforementioned spells work also, they work by circulating energy at the molecular level, thereby providing healing energy to the damaged areas.

I found that self healing works- breathe in and out ,slowly(usually 5 times) Then, visualize the area healthy and in complete working order- you can also visualize the area bathed in a blue and purple swirl of light. Then, for the final kick of healing, rub your palms together about 8 times, pass them over the area you are healing on yourselfThe area will probably get warm) and, when you are ready, tense your body and send out one final blast of healing energy. This has worked for me. I have a question along these lines- I am a survivor of three cancers(one very rare)- this can be seen as a healing situation(since the doctors feel it might be a gene-based syndrome, heal the genes? Or at a deeper level) I also kind of see it as a protection situation(protecting myself, my body from this invader, this evil named cancer) Does anyone have any ideas on spells or magickal workings I can use in my case- and yes, I am being treated by doctors, I just want to be able to do more for myself :steppy:

Not a book on magick, but if you read Getting Well Again by Dr. Carl Simonton, you will see that he has essentially proven that cancer can be slowed down, put into remission, and even completely cured in many cases. I've used alot of techniques frrom that book to work with other problems I've had. It is essentially learning to use visualiztion and the higher self for healing. Larry Dossey's books are also good to work with.

As for spells, I would probably use them in conjunction with other techniques...like maybe reiki, pranic healing, and visualization. When it comes to healing things that are serious...I don't follow the whole thing about casting a spell and then forgetting about it. Physical problems are something that should be dealt with daily, using both conventional medicine and other methods, like metaphysical and alternative treatments.

From the Carmina Gadelica.

Bride went out
In the morning early,
With a pair of horses;
One broke his leg
With much ado,
That was apart,
She put bone to bone,
She put flesh to flesh,
She put sinew to sinew,
She put vein to vein;
As she healed that,
May she heal this.
