Something really stupid from my past.
When I was about 19 or 20 I totaled my car. I was taking a bunch of girls home after a party that I turned up late to... too late to, so I was stone cold sober. Anyway my ex was in the back having a drunken good time with two of her friends and a pretty little blonde girls was in the passenger seat next to me. Since this is a PG site I won't go into details but I will say she was distracting me in the nicest possible way. As a result I didn't see a red light and went straight through, (remember kids keep your eyes on the road!). This was at about 3am in the morning and because Murphy seems to stalk me a bloke who'd just gotten off work as a bus driver was coming through his GREEN light and if I hadn't have looked up at the last second and slammed on the accelerator he would have run into the side of my car. In the end he took out the back of my car sending us into a massive spin, but luckily I managed to gain control of the car before running into a cement pillar.
The funniest thing though is a week later I was catching a bus (I wonder why :whatmewor) and guess who the bus driver was?:toofless:

Ha-ha, Infinite Gray, you're so....um....gray and....and infinite.
Sorry, I'm not good at ridiculing. But I agree, while the distraction is certainly understandable, it was pretty stupid. Lets just hope it's the stupidest thing you ever do. Probably won't be, because like me, you're a guy and certain....lets say stimuli...cause us to do profoundly stupid things. But we can hope. I wish you luck.

Yeah everything was cool, no injuries. My ex spent a good hour yelling at me (hence why she was my ex), the blonde girl spent that same hour mothering me... a strange contrast :2G: I ended up calling them a taxi and then I walked home. :wah: I loved that car

:hehehe: serves you just right. i'd probably just have laughed my ass off at you. Besides... unless the car was a Buick Skylark cab from -73 it was probably not taht big of a deal anyway.

:crylaugh: actually it was a 1985 Toyota Sprinter, ironically that's what I drive now :fpoke: What can I say, I love that car _twohorns_
Like I said, I can't go into details... but a woman would be just as distracted if our positions were reversed :P

Yeah yeah... I doubt a woman would let herself be distracted in that way... although that would be pretty interesting. *pictures the situation* Oh wellllps.... :P

Hmmm... thinking of a clean way to put this.
You're very lucky that your ex didn't have the instinct to, um, bite down in a moment of fear and surprise.
It's been known to happen, seriously.
