I've been trying to find this one cross stitch pattern and I just can't find it anywhere. It's one of the goddess on her knees holding the world against her stomach. With the way it is done, it looks like she could be pregnant and the world is also her belly.
Any help finding it would be greatly appreciated. I need a new cross stich project.
Also, I'm looking for pagan cross stich patterns that'd be good for a baby blanket. Some friends of mine are having a child soon and I want to make them a Yule gift. :) That and I'm running out of ideas for the bably blanket I'm making for when I eventually have children of my own. :)

I have lots of sites with celtic/pagan patterns, even a few freebies. I'll see about hunting them up tonight..........

I have tons of freebie xstitch patterns. Especially dragons and others.
Yvonne - theres' a xstich designer and her site is "Dragon Dreams", her name is Jennifer Aikmen Smith I think? Anyways she has some great free ones. I'm not on my computer right now so if you don't have the address just say so and i'll post it later.
Cydira- I haven't seen that one. If you know the designer's name could you please post it.
The above designer i mentioned has a dragon alphabet that she gave away for free last year but now has them plus numbers on a leaflet. I just finished my daughter's name in them but haven't finished the entire project yet.

Cool Xois! I might have a couple for that!
Sorry guys but my computer is totally freaking out on me and I can't even bring up Windows. My husband is cursing Bill Gates' name and all his future decendants right now. JJ
I hope to have it back up soon, even if he has to reinstall. Fortunately all of my files are on the 2nd hard drive so I can't lose them :D

Hi cydira!
I've seen this design that you're talking about; not the cross stitch pattern itself, but a sculpture of the Goddess with the globe as her pregnant belly. It's absolutely gorgeous! I had no idea it had been made into a cross stitch pattern! Unfortunately, I believe I saw a picture of this sculpture in a magazine I no longer have. :(
I'm very interested in a pattern swap! Thanks for bringing up the topic, witchywoman! I'll be bookmarking this thread for later reading!

Hello all!
I just came across this page. It has some fun (and stereotypical) Hallowe'en sampler patterns. (By stereotypical, I mean witches in pointy hats hanging out with ghosts and goblins ;))

Enjoy!

This is not the cross stitch pattern, but I think this is the statue I mentioned in a previous post! Is this the Goddess you mean? --> http://www.mythicimages.com/gaia.html

It was an actual cross stich pattern. I've been trying to find the book it was in, I think it was a pagan needlework book. I'm not sure. If I could remember the title, I'd definately pass it on because it had some beautiful patterns in there. Even a few lovely quilts that looked really simple to make.
As it is, I found a few more needle point designs that I had put together and I'll try to figure out how to post them soon. :)
