Hi Today is my dads b-day 3/16 we dont get along and he has a terrible temper. He acts like a spoiled rotten little boy anytime you dont agree with him. We have butted heads for 30 years and I cant stand it anymore. I thought someone could give me insight that would help me to better understand his sign you know more that the stuff that I can read in the grocery isle. :awwman:

do you have the birth year, and even better, his birthtime and place? that way we could draw an actual chart. :)

Hmm... I was kinda expecting a bit of Aries, but he only has his North Node there; a sign that he's learning to be a little more assertive in this life. But from what you say he doesn't seem to have a problem in that area. Without a birth time I can't use houses, but he does have a stellium (ie: a bunch!) of planets in Pisces: Sun, Moon, Mercury and the asteroid Vesta. He's probably ultra-sensitive to his surroundings, whether it be the moods of people around him or just the general environment. He can be in a bad mood because he "picked it up" from someone else! Mars has to do with anger, but his falls in Libra, which usually at least /trys/ to be diplomatic and tactful. Pluto is in Leo, and they call his generation "the me generation", but the self-centeredness that implies can fade into the background pretty easily. One thing does stick out to me: Pluto opposes Venus in Aquarius, so it's possible he might have trouble relating to women in his life, maybe wanting to control them a bit too much. Given that he's your father that might be an understandable role to take, but you're of an age now where that should start to settle down. He does, however, have a T-Square with his Sun, Mars & Uranus, which could give him a hair trigger temper at times. It may have more to do with tension & unhappiness in his own life than his feelings towards you... Without houses though it's kinda foggy...

All in all I wonder if maybe it's not so much him, but the way in which you two interact that's the problem. Your planets could be in signs that don't "get along" too great with his, or in English, you two could just be very different people and your communication styles don't mesh well. :)

The chart's below if anyone wants to take a stab at it...

I am a LEO born 8/8/74 at 4:32 pm and my daughter born 8/8/01 4:17pm I can already see in her that she will not get along with my dad. He already gets on her nerves and at 3 she tells him "stop bothering me! Leave me alone" Could it be the three of us will never get along?

Just to add on if you're still interested, take everything that Kadynas said plus a further observation on Sun-Mars aspect. Libra, while very sensitive, is also hard as steel. It gets it's own way. Many times by being so sweet, unobtrusive, and diplomatic that you don't even realize what snuck up on you, yes... but Libra throws many a temper-tantrum as well. Remember they're the scales, searching for that balance- not necessarily at it. And tantrum is the key word- you've used it yourself. It's not the same temper as, say, and Aries, who you can trust to explode and get it out of the system. It's a tantrum of some yelling and then a lot of sulking and it doesn't get out of the system until it gets its way. It's pretty hard to deal with and not everyone can.

A Libran Mars will, in the best of cases, actively work towards harmony in their surroundings. But Pisces have also been misunderstood. With acute sensitivity and comfort in emotions comes hurt and comfort in releasing emotions. Your dad has these two sensitive signs, one feeling entirely natural expressing its emotions and the other feeling entitled to it's own way and, well, there you go. And as Kadynas also pointed out, there are proabbly some disharmonious aspects between your charts as well.

Of course not everyone with this aspect will act like that. Astrology is potential, not absolutes, and with life comes learning; I have a Moon-Mars square with Mars in Scorpio and you should have seen those explosions back in the day. It's all about recognizing your flaws and recognizing what is acceptable to the people you care about, and actively working your entire life to change when change is called for. That's what squares and oppositions are- challenges to grow. Maybe your dad never realized how hard it is for the people around him and hasn't seen a reason to change.

The only other thing I can see, is that (and I really like Leos, but you gotta admit this one thing) Leos are pretty self-centered. Lovable, warm, generous, fun, and great to be around, but self centered. That can be hard for a Pisces- they give of themselves so freely and readily that they need to be given genuine consideration and attention in return- which perhaps you aren't noticing because you're very wrapped up in your immediate life. ???

Yes total tantrum with a whole lot of sulking. It can go on for days. I guess youre right about the self centered I am so the LEO but after so many years of putting up with his UPTIGHT- GOTTA HAVE IT MY WAY - I KNOW EVERYTHING - IM ALWAYS RIGHT. Bull*&^% I am so tired of it. I want to make an effort for my daughter and son but man o man its driving me crazy already...
Although I do tend to be self centered I am quite respectful and most of the time just let him rant and rave then just agree to shut him.
Your so right on the mark!
