Well we all know about the roosters in the basement. We had decided to help keep the boys happy we were getting the girl friends to see if that would help to keep the quiet and sort out who would take over as hen checker. Any way cutting to the chase we find the birds that we are looking for and get em. The auctioneer makes an anoucement that there is a baby goat that is going up next. My roomate and i walk over and are faced with the cutest little then in the whole world a Nubian kid (long floppy eared goat) and a nanny to boot. We talk to the lady that has her and find out the her momma threw triplets and she couldn't take care of this one and she was being bottle feed. So now we have a 6 day old goat in the house (in a kennel mind you at night) but when shes loose we put down old towel have he it pretty much timed when shes gotta potty. Right after she eats. we don't have a dairy goat so she is ond lamb replacer and loves i and has gained a per day since we have had her. River dog the house old man ,baby sitter, has taken to making sure she stays out of trouble. im gonna get pics and try to post them. you know normal people keep regular pets why do we have chickens in the basement and a goat in or bedrooms is beyond me.

i want a goat! My sister has a friend who has goats, and they keep reproducing faster than they can keep track of, and so they offered us one... i think it'd be cute, i talked to my mom about it, and she's interested too, but my dad would have a fit, so if we do end up with one, we will have to keep it a secret, just like we did with the hamster, rabbit, and cockatiel... good luck on taking care of all your critters!!!
