View Full Version : New project... Mountain Keep
March 17th, 2005, 08:00 PM
I started this project today. We have had awful weather, and I have not been able to be out in my building sanding, sawing etc. Hopefully the weather will clear up by the weekend, and i can work on a couple orders I have.
Anyway, this should keep me busy in the mean time.
It's a work in progress. It's name is Mountain Keep. I have a long way to go, but this thing is HUGE. 25x21 inches. Yep it is a big thing.
When it is finished it will have color and more detail. You probably can't make out the waterfall that will be spilling from the mountain below the keep yet, but it will be there. :)Thanks for looking.

I love that! :) Those mountains almost look like they could double as someone's face too... I always try to find the hidden pictures in everything. Blame it on too many Where's Waldo books!

Wow, are you going to try and sell this when you've completed it?

I would like to. I think it might be difficult though. Finding someone who wants to buy it that is, LOL. :)
I may put it on ebay or something, I don't know yet.

I might be interested if I don't have to sell my first born son! I do love that, and have a place I would like to put it. My grandchildren have their own rooms when they come to grandma's house and this would be perfect for my little warlock's room.

Well, my husband thinks no less than $100. I am however, unsure it will go for the likes of $100 or more. I am logging my hours (I am at 13 now), and going to go from there. :)
