I purchased a "shrine box" containing (among other items) an Anasazi bean. I have searched and am unable to find out the spiritual significance of these beans. Can anyone enlighten me? Thank you -- Hana

Beans, corn & squash were grown by the Anasazi (& most all of the Native Americans of the Southwest). These three foods combine to give a fairly balanced diet. When you live in an arid climate, any food crop would be sacred, I think...
