Age Difference

I had a neat idea for a thread, was inspired by the Young Pagans thread started by Adam of Avalon.:) Well, I have noticed with more than one member that the age I thought they were was not at ALL accurate. For instance I thought Willowfairy was at least 17. LOL. And she was only 12! :):):) hehe, so my fun suggestion is that we start alil conversation about what age we thought people were. Heck, we might get some funny answers na? :D Have fun:)

Hmmm I didnt think about it until now but I guess I though Willow Raven was about 26 or 27, willowfairy about 16 (I read elsewhere you were 12 - it blew my mind! I have no idea why I just used that phrase :elf: ), Mists...20ish and I havent thought too much about anyone else at the moment - Im sure I will come up with more lol.

I haven't been here long, but does anyone know how old I am? It's kinda neat on-line. (When people see me in person, they think I'm much younger than I am, because I'm short and thin with a very young face and don't wear too much make-up.) :rolleyes:

I'm with Laiste , if I see some one interesting or whatever I ususally check their profile. But there were a few people who e-mailed me out of the blue and I had to make guess at their age. Like I totally thought Xander was around 17+. I didn't clue in to the 67 on the end of his name until I checked his profile and realized he was 34. (I think) And there was this other chick too I thought she was really old but She wasn't at all maybe like 20's. Minor misjudgements. :lol:

I as well am shocked by gunner's age, and I've seen pictures of him before!! Gunner, I really thought you must be in your mid-forties! You certainly look wonderful for so wise an age. *bows to the handsome sage*

I'm finding this thread interesting as I haven't consciously thought about too many people's ages. I think I must associate an age to the avatar subconsciously as I do sort of have a picture of the people I've met here, but I haven't really quantified it all that specifically. I'd hesitate to guess at anyone's age for fear of being oh-so-wrong! :D I would be interested in how old you all think I am. *hint* don't look at my avatar... ;)

Well, I normally look at people's ages... So I can't really participate in this... But I will say, a lot of people here thought that I was much older than I am. What a nice retreat from people IRL who look at me and think I am 13. (I'm not) I guess it's not a point of what age a person is here. We treat each other as equals, and in this cyber, addictive, and very inclusive community I've noticed that age doesn't have to be a factor in intellegence or maturity.
