I don't know if I should be afraid or happy about this.... :fpeek:
I get vibes and sensations, voices and flashes from everyone around me, and the spirits tell me different things about everyone. It's been happening since I was little, as far back as I can remember, and I can't seem to get rid of it. I can control it somewhat, but it seems as if I have a "knack" with it. People are having a problem or an issue, and I grab it, and can help them with it. I get called freak for it, but I really don't know. Am I the only one, or does this happen to others too? _violin_

It happened to me as a little kid. Adults used to cringe around me cause of all the stuff I say around them.

Strangely as I grew older I heard them less and less. Nowadays I have to write a poem about someone before stuff comes out about them.

I do to some extent if I focus on someone, but it can happen uncontrollably when I go to a new place, mostly in the realm of being overwhelmed with feelings and "vibes." It sounds like you are naturally very very empathetic which can be a blessing and a curse at times.

This happens to my SO Rudas Starblaze much more often, so you are not alone. If you ever need someone to talk to about it, feel free to PM us about it. :)

Thx very much, it' good to know I'm not the only one, but it's still scary the things I see, very real and very dark at times. :hairred:

I write alot of poetry, which, at times, doesn't help. Thx, though.

I hear that... I had an unusual experience with that recently myself. The only thing for me that I could do was decide if I wanted to block it or not, or work on my blocking abilities to the point where I wouldn't experience it any longer.

I still haven't really made up my mind yet, I'm back in my hometown now, and the experience is over since I have more of myself here, if that makes any sense. :tongueout I suppose for you the question is the same...block it and not deal with the dark stuff or let it all in and hope you can sort it out as you go. :hugz:

All I have to say is... if you don't train yourself now, you're going to have problems later. A guy I once knew had a powerful natural talent to work energy... but, because of his repressed Christian upbringing, he forced himself to suppress it. Now, he has many, dangerous seizures. I'd be surprised if he hasn't died yet.

That's a more extreme and rare case of repressing natural talents, so don't get too weirded out. The usual things that happen are psychological grumpies, at worse insanity.

If you can't find a reliable teacher, grab some books and train yourself. It's slow and difficult when it comes to self-training, but you'll be MUCH better off than letting things go haywire.

I think you have a natural talent for seeing things beyond the physical reality, and telepathy. Unfortunately, there aren't many books on telepathy (but it's not very complicated, fortunately, and doesn't require you to have an IQ of 7,556 or anything like that), or I haven't seen that many.

If you want to keep all the crap out of your head, I would reccomend practicing shielding on the emotional and mental level. I do not reccomend making your shields permanent and indestructable, because that'd be repression as well.

If you lived here in Wichita, KS, I'd reccomend you to my mentors... :yikess:

Hey there Celestion,

not to worry, I kinda get flashes and sometimes entities telling me stuff too. I also used to get flashes of horrible images I didnt want to see, but I kinda managed to get over that phase in my life.

One way to keep the flashes and images out is to really really practice your shielding and hold your boundaries whenever you are around people.

And, if the spirits keep telling you stuff and its really starting to inconvienence your social life, just sternly and firmly tell them to get out of your field and keep their opinions to themselves.

Don't feel worried about tellin them off or telling them to back off or get out of your house. Don't be afraid of them, especially those little ghosts or imps or beings that like to pretend to be someone great.

Shield, shield, shield. That's one important thing. Define your boundaries. Sometimes, it's good to tell them off firmly to leave you alone.
